If you're looking for a Vacuum or floor cleaner of some sort, Godfrey's is the place for you…read more I get a real personal feel from Godfrey's, the staff at the Chapel street store are lovely and endeavour to help you choose the right vacuum for you, your abode and what uses you will use your appliance for. They have such awesome brands from Dyson to Hoover. They also stock air coolers and air purifiers and are quite helpful with assisting you to fill in your warranty form. I really am appreciative of the service we received here.

I'm a bit of a sucker for a bargain and this place is where bargains live. As it goes with…read morebargains, there's a fair amount of risk involved and this place is no exception to that. Having purchased a few things here over the years however, I've only had one bad experience and it was more to do with a design fault than anything the shop could help with. They did not handle the situation well though and I was left with a series of malfunctioning kettles -- it's the ultimate frustration not being able to boil water for your tea in the morning. That said, all the other appliances I've picked up from here have been ace. And this place will redefine the meaning of cheap. If you're moving house or just need a sexy new matching toaster and kettle set this is the place. Don't expect any kind of service though, they ain't big on that.
If only there was a kitchen fitting store next door to this place, my life would be complete. You…read moresee, my cupboards and kitchen bench tops are bursting full of paraphernalia that I have purchased from (big deep breath) the Breville, Kambrook, Phillips Factory Outlet Store - and I am dearly in need of some new kitchen storage space to put all this wonderful stuff. I probably don't need to explain what they sell here as the name really does say it all. But if you are after any of these brands and more at cheap cheap prices this place is well worth a look. It is a factory outlet - so it is advisable to keep your receipt in case something is faulty. Everything is, of course, tested before it gets to the store so this should never (and never has been for me) be the case. But there is the occasional item that has wonky legs, for example, or has a tiny scratch on it. In my view they are probably going to get all scratched up etc., when I try and shove them into my already overloaded cupboards. Someone please open that kitchen design shop next door!

I was looking for a second TV forth bedroom when I came across Kogan and even though I had my mind…read moreset on a well known brand I decided to give 'the Aussie brand a go' after checking for specs and price. I bought a 32 inch LED TV with PVR and DVD blind (Kogan has no showroom or anywhere where you can see the product before you buy) and it was promptly delivered to me. When I received the TV it came with a damaged stand. I took a picture of the stand and sent it to Kogan who promptly sent me a new stand. I bought the TV in May but last month the picture just died. All I got was awhile flickering screen of which I took a video and sent it off to the Kogan support team. I was asked to try some simple diagnostics which did not work. I was then asked to put the TV back in it's original packing (which by now was recycled) and then have it ready for a courier to pick up. Since I did have any packing and was happy to drive unto 50 ams to hand over the TV I was asked to leave the TV to Kogan's Sydney repairer in Tempe. I dropped the TV off . It's now been 12 days since I handed the TV over and I am still waiting for it to be fixed. Moreover I have had to chase up what's happening instead of Kogan coming back to me. Kogan a good product at a great rate but with a lot to be desired in terms of service.

I had had a price match approved by your online team (I am a business customer and they were matching an existing business discount) and Patrick picked up my call mid way through a conversation with a VERY FRIENDLY sales assistant and decided that he wouldn't be honouring what had already been approved by the JB Business team AND the JB online team and although he could see three different invoices that had been issued with the discount, decided he was the messiah of JB HiFi and the overall decision maker for the whole company and he would not be honouring the deal. For a store manager, Patrick had absolutely no customer service skills, was combative, rude, continually spoke over me and cut me off and would not listen to what I was trying to explain even though it was shown on the three invoices he was able to look at. As a result of this I will be taking my business for this purchase and ALL other future purchases for myself and my business elsewhere, even if I have to pay full frieght on the products to ensure that I am treated fairly and with respect.
