We were blown away by the incredibly well made jewelry items, kids products, masks, and quirky collectables. My sister found a great selection of gifts for her twin daughters ( 3) in particular cat mermaid aprons with cooking accessories. I got them a massive play kitchen last Holiday season, so this was a perfect find! The store is also inside an adorable pink house ( Great for photo ops) I LOVE all the unique gifts, especially all the made in Michigan gifts. Being from Michigan and living in California, I LOVE showing my MI pride out of state. Kitty deluxe is the most charming and unique stop for gifts and Jewelry of all sorts! I'm sure if you've driven along Harper Ave you have noticed the pink house! It has been a staple in St. Clair Shores for quite some time. (Formerly the Straw flower Haus) Owner Cat Masoff has been hand making creations for years. She first opened "Black Sunhine" a new/vintage clothing store in the 1990's (also on harper ave). Her new store is kid friendly, they even host birthday parties where everyone can make their own fun creations! Kitty Deluxe is a fabulous boutique for girls of all ages. I recentyly had my daughters 5th birthday party there & it was like a fairy tale. If you have a daughter, I highly recommend having a princess party at this cute little shop. The girls had a blast making necklaces. It was perfect. The owner, Cat, was super nice & great with the kids. The prices are more than affordable. You will for sure find quite a bit of fun treasures in this unique place. I had just moved to the east side and was driving down humdrum Harper when I noticed a tiny pink house on the side of the street. I was mystified and just had to check it out. Inside the tiny house are thousands of handmade goods for little girls. Jewelry, hair accessories, purses, boxes, bags, magnets and mirrors are abundantly, yet carefully merchandised on various surfaces. Most of the merchandise is made by the owner, her sister and her mother. You can put together an array of matching items at a very reasonable cost. It's a great place to take the little girl in your world or even pick up a present for a big-girl friend with a youthful heart. It is one of those places that a little one would recall when she grows up and not really know if it was real or a spectacular figment of her imagination. read more

This place is definitely not just for kids. Cat and her sister and mom make beautiful jewelry that is definitely for adults as well as kids. I just went in for a pair of earrings and walked out with three pairs. Oops.... Almost everything there is made by them, which is super cool. Buy local! I am fussy about my earring backings, I prefer wire to the loop kind, which is more common. They will happily switch them out for me on the spot. Besides jewelry, they also have other fun stuff including magnets, soaps, candles, hats. It's a great place to pick up a hostess gift or a present for a friend. This is one of my favorite stores in the Detroit area. And guys, don't be afraid of the pink house, the ladies who work there are very nice and will help you find the perfect gift. Local, woman-owned, handmade girly gifts. As an adult, not everything in here was really my cup of tea. But if I was12 or under again - or knew any young girls - this place would be my heaven! I can't say enough wonderful things about Kitty Deluxe. We had my daughter's 11th birthday party here today and the girls had a great time. The price was very reasonable, Kat was very warn and accommodating, the birthday girl got a free autograph pillow for her guests to sign, and all the girls received 10% off their purchases. They made super cute jewelry and we could bring in cake and pizza. I HIGHLY recommend. read more

Cutest little pink shop in Michigan. I visited KD for a girls night out event and it was really nice. They have a nice selection hand made jewelry and other items such as soap, painted wine glasses, bags and magnets. The staff was very kind and friendly.
