    Kitty deluxe is the most charming and unique stop for gifts and Jewelry of all sorts! I'm sure if you've driven along Harper Ave you have noticed the pink house! It has been a staple in St. Clair Shores for quite some time. (Formerly the Straw flower Haus) Owner Cat Masoff has been hand making creations for years. She first opened "Black Sunhine" a new/vintage clothing store in the 1990's (also on harper ave). Her new store is kid friendly, they even host birthday parties where everyone can make their own fun creations! Whenever I am looking for a unique fun gift I always stop in and am welcomed by her, or her mother :D

A year ago, they offered the best price for a custom gold engagement ring, delivered impeccable craftsmanship, and treated me like a valued customer. That memory made us excited to return for our wedding bands. Unfortunately, that excitement evaporated the moment we were greeted by Jim. His demeanor was terse, dismissive, and bordering on condescending. Rather than guiding us through a special moment, he made us question whether we were foolish for even considering the pieces we showed interest in. After barely five minutes of engagement, he waved me off to another part of the store when I asked about silver chains. We stood awkwardly for nearly 20 minutes--no one acknowledged us, and it turned out we needed to pull a new number to get help. Meanwhile, I was fully prepared to make significant purchases. This review isn't about a single rude encounter--it's about how easily a brand can lose loyalty when they fail to deliver consistent respect and care. I'm giving Maloof two stars solely out of respect for their earlier excellence. But I won't return. If this business wants to remain relevant with a new generation of buyers, it needs to rethink who's representing it. A moment that should've been joyful was soured by apathetic service. That's the kind of dead weight that ages a brand out of existence.

One, you could never get a call back or a response in messenger. Very hard to work with someone when communication is one way. Checks were to be ready on the 10th of each month, with a sales report sent via email. I left self addressed stamped envelopes to have my check mailed because it was a 45 minute drive one way to get there. I don't think my check was ever mailed on time, and each month you would wait and wait for a sales report. One month she was too busy to get checks out on time. I always felt that vendors came last. I gave her my 30 day notice prior to leaving. Granted, it was in December when I was leaving. But, I left a message the night before I was picking up, on the vendor facebook page. Her response was that my inventory would be left in boxes, in the alley. So, my inventory sat in an alley all night. I had 4 boxes out there. Once I got settled and checked in what was there, and what I had sold had been also checked off my inventory list, I was missing around $1200 in product. And I had a handful of pieces that didn't belong to me. I contacted the owner and her response was that there is nothing she can do. But if she comes across any, she would let me know. As for what I received that didn't belong to me, no response. I have reached out a few times since and it's radio silence. Yes, she has a beautiful store, and with the amount of stock, it can be overwhelming for a shopper. As a vendor, I do not recommend this place. I say, stay far away.

When I walked in the door, I barely received a hello from whomever was working that day. In fact, my presence was not even acknowledged the entire time I was in the building, past the weak hello. There are some cute things in this place, but I have to say, I would hesitate to leave any of my product there. It doesn't feel like a very friendly place to do business, if I'm not even acknowledged as a shopper.

    I received a flame-less candle lantern as a Christmas gift, but it didn't work. I went into the…read moreshop to exchange it, letting them know I didn't have a receipt because it was a gift. The women all stood there staring at me until one said, "Wait a minute - he's the boss" and then walked away. This was not in a nice tone. Then when "the boss" came over, he said, "What's wrong with it?" I said, "It doesn't work". He proceeded to take it out of the box, take the batteries from the display on the counter, and test it himself, as I said under my breath, "Oh, so he doesn't trust me". I was really irritated. I was only asking to exchange it, not get money back. Then he starts to box up the display to give to me. I said, "You're giving me the display?" He says, "Well, you don't have a receipt." I said, "If I'd known you were going to give me such a hard time, I'd have tried to get the receipt". He says, "I'm not giving you a hard time. Ok, fine, get one of those." (From the display with several of them behind me). Based on the rudeness of every one of those employees/owner, I will never, ever step foot in the store again. The man did not even look at me once during the whole transaction, and even my mom, who is pretty easy going, was amazed by the way they treated me.

She told me that my coupon for $5.00 off of $20.00 would not work on sale items, even though it was not on the coupon. She also told me my xmas thank you cards were NOT ON SALE even though the sign right about indicted they were 70% off. SHE THEN YELLED TO STEVE, HEY ARE THESE ON SALE? Too many options for Hallmark stores to be treated this way. Sorry Steve.
