If you're anything like me, you're a nervous wreck leaving your cat and going on a trip! My cat Bambi, has NEVER been at a boarding establishment ever and she's 12 years old! I was so so hesitant to find a place to board my baby girl at first but warmed up to the idea when I called Kitty Cat Condos and spoke to Tiana and David! Not only were they pleasant and took the time to explain how their establishment works, they welcomed my parents (my cat currently lives with them) to come in and tour! I explained to them how Bambi is a nervous wreck when she is removed from a familiar place and they reassured me that she is in good hands! Additionally, they have a list of food that they provide for the cats that board, but I was most comfortable providing the food Bambi is currently eating just so her diet didn't change! Tiana and David made sure to give her the amount she normally eats at home and provided her daily with fresh water! I found out later that Tiana also took the time to get to know Bambi and give her loving scratches under her chin (her favorite!). We booked her in to a cozy room for over 2 weeks and I'm happy to say she is healthy, happy, and stress free because of the care and love Tiana and David put into their business! My dad picked Bambi up today and she looks so happy! I even called Tiana to check up on Bambi during her stay and she was so so kind and reassured me that Bambi was doing well! Tiana and David are incredibly kind and responsible pet care takers with a clean and safe establishment and I definitely will be booking Bambi to stay if ever needed in the near future! Love this place. I have never left my cat in a cat hotel so I did not know what to expect. This place is great. The website gives detailed pictures of all the cat condos available. I picked the cat studio for my cat and it was perfect. She has everything she needed and plenty of space. The location is very clean and organized very well. They took all the COVID-19 precautions as everything was very cleaned and sanitized. The staff was amazing and super friendly. I highly recommend Kitty Cat Condos to any owners that want peace of mind when leaving town. I boarded my two cats with them for 5 days and knew they were in great hands. One of my cats has a disability with his back legs that prevents him from being able to jump. Tiana was able to accommodate his needs by providing a litter box with a low entry, and steps to climb onto the bed. Also, he needs to receive oral medicine twice a day which I was confident would be administered properly due to the experience that the Kitty Cat Condo crew have. My special needs cat returned home healthy and in great shape, which never happens when I have had other people watch after him. I will most definitely board at Kitty Cat Condos whenever I need to leave town, or if I ever need a safe place to keep my cats. The rates are great and the service is outstanding! read more

I took my cat here while I was out of town and in between apartments. My cat is my baby and I wanted to make sure she would be safe. The staff was very helpful and communicated with me when I wanted to check on her. Although I probably won't do this again if I have someone who can come to my house and watch her (just because she was really sad there and missed me and I felt horrible), I would recommend this company if you need to board your cat and I would take her there again if I needed to. The pricing is affordable (I was paying $19 a day), the staff is friendly, and the cats all seem like they are taken care of and comfortable. I boarded my ex's cat here about a month ago as a way for him to be able to pick up his cat once he was settled in a new living situation. The situation became sticky when my ex stopped checking in with his cat and I was unsure about whether the poor cat was going to be picked up (and for specific reasons, I could not keep him myself or I would have). I was also reluctant about paying for beyond the time I expected him to be gone... but Tiana went above and beyond to communicate with both me and my ex, without requiring me to have to reach out to him, and was able to resolve the situation. She was so incredibly helpful, and was able to outline what we could do if my ex was unable to pick up his cat or pay for his boarding. ASIDE FROM THE PERSONAL STUFF - I believe I reserved one of the "Kitty Studios", and on dropping off Elias, I could see they looked clean and well-maintained. I think for cats that do well for boarding or aren't too bothered by possibly seeing other cats through the glass, these are a great size and space! My cat Senior Pickles is like my kid since I am old and single so I am super careful about where to board him when I need to fly out of town for business. If you are like me and stress out about leaving your cat then bring your fur baby to these guys. I stopped by today to check out the new location after leaving the humane society. I always stress about leaving our pets when we go out of town, and getting a new cat finding adequate boarding was top of my list. Our pets are our children, and I don't want to worry about them when I'm out of town. The new locations is much bigger than before, with high ceilings and tons of natural light. The owners gave me a tour and introduced me to some of the cats. Every room was clean and all the cats seems content and happy. They knew them all by name, where their owners were, when they were going home and what medicinal conditions each cat had. That's a lot to remember! I left feeling good about having a place to leave our cat, knowing they will be in caring hands in a lovely, clean space. And right on the way to the airport, so no need to say goodbye any earlier than necessary! read more

Although Kitty Cat Condos is inconvenient for me (living near OHSU in SW), it is very convenient for the frequent flier. It is also worth the drive. I'm never comfortable leaving my cat, he's like a child to me. But of course, there is holiday & cats aren't good travelers. I have used Kitty Cat condos twice now, and each time I am impressed. The facility is locked at all times (you must be buzzed in), has mirrored windows, and is very clean and quiet. I esp like that there are only cats, no dogs (to scare my cat). The owners are awesome, and very accommodating. I needed Xmas accommodations for Oliver last minute, and she was willing to call around to confirm her bookings 100%. It turned out one client didn't need the condo so Oliver took their place. Perfect! I highly recommend Kitty Cat condos. If you are going to trust your cat with anyone, these people should be the top of the list. read more

Our family just recently moved from NC to OR. Kitty Cat Condos housed our cats for 21 days. Tiana and Dave took such amazing care of our 5 cats. They even took special time to feed our 18 year old cat soft food. They fed them treats and played with them. The condo and the facility was always clean!! Tiana was so helpful, and when it came time to have our cat shipped to us via United, she bent over backwards to make everything, including the paperwork, happen smoothly. Writing this review after my first experiencing boarding my cat ever. I checked out pretty much every other pet boarding in pdx, and this seemed like it would be the best for my wallet and my little guy. When i went to take a look at the establishment and see where my kitty would be staying while i was away I was very impressed with the size of the kennel, and how friendly the staff was. I was shown around and got to meet a lot of the cats that were boarding there, and i felt good about leaving my cat. Everything seemed to be okay, although I wasn't stoked on how dark the room he would be staying in was. There were some extenuating circumstances previous to his stay, as he was hospitalized for an allergic reaction two days prior so he was already stressed out from that. When he was brought to the kennel he was wearing his leash and harness and I was told he was on edge. When I came to pick him up, the staff said when he was brought in by my girlfriend they were unable to remove the harness due to him swatting, growling, etc, the general things that happen when a cat is brought into a new and/or stressful environment. However I wasn't exactly happy that FIVE DAYS later, he was still in his harness, and I received no update about this. I was also told that after the first two days he had calmed down, which is why i was confused as to why the staff thought it was okay to leave him in a tight harness for 5 consecutive days. I walked into the condo and removed it immediately without issue. It was surprising to me that they were unable to take care of it and make sure my cat was comfortable for his stay. being that they this is a feline only kennel, I would imagine they have dealt with something like this, or far worse. I was also offered no apology or explanation other than that he was angry for the first two days. This to me is a sign that he was neglected during his stay, and I don't think I will be bringing him back here if I'm ever need of boarding again. It's a shame because everything else seemed to be top notch. read more

I've taken my cat here several times. Condos are clean and a decent size. I only wish my cat could be let out daily. I understand, however, that KCC wants to keep our kitties safe and healthy, which is a great relief for all pet parents. Places that do cost considerably more, too.. Owned by a husband and wife team that have been providing this great service for twelve years or so. Its totally like a hotel for kitties! The owners animals also get to hang out with them during the day. The rooms are super cute. My cats stayed here for seven days at Christmas in the Winnie the Pooh room. They had a toddler bed, a cat tree, a tv, and lots of room. All three cats can stay together, I can bring their own blankets, they have a kitty sized "hotel" room so they are not in cages, and all for a really affordable price. It was really clean, really secure, and the owners were super friendly and helpful. They gave me updates on them when I called to check every couple days, and even gave my one cat medicine and allowed me to store the carriers for when I picked my babies back up after their stay. NO.NO.NO! I don't mean to be dramatic but my cats are my little children and I hated my (their) experience at KCC! First off, it's neighbors to a strip club. I guess that's not entirely their fault, but as they say "location location location!" Secondly, it's super dated and the process for which they do their paperwork is kind of sketch. I was worried we were being overcharged and that she wasn't really paying attention. Also, I know this is a cat sitting place, but it doesn't have to smell. I've been to PLENTY of businesses like this and they don't have old cat lady house smell. While we were gone we didn't receive ANY emails or updates about our cats. There was zero communication about how they were doing. When we got back and picked up our kitties they were soo miserable. They were all hiding, greasy, stressed and scared. I left thinking "what the heck did they so to my cats?". My hubby is not as protective of our cats as I am and even he was extremely bothered and worried by how upset our kitties were. Our experience with KCC literally made me never want to leave the cats again. HOWEVER, since we had such a horrible experience we decided next time we would pay the extra money for an in home pet sitting service and let me just say its worth it! The next company we went with sent pictures, daily updates, emails, texts and the house looked cleaner when we got home than when we left. I definitely don't recommend kitty cat condos. read more

We boarded our cats at Kitty Condo's recently and we could not have asked for a better experience. Seven days, Mimi and Pepper lounged in a spacious unit with plenty of playtime and lots of care. What a great experience! I had to make an emergency trip to Portland last month to visit my mother. I brought my two fur babies with me, Ernie and Mosey. After the first day, my mother wasn't able to have them in her house. I stumbled across this business and called and spoke with Tiana. She was amazing in helping me make last minute accommodations in one of her condos. What was a stressful family trip was made less stressful by the overly cheerful and friendly service of Tiana. We have been taking our three fuzzbuckets here for a few years and although it is a little bit of a hump from our home, we wouldn't dream of trusting them with anyone else. I now call Tiana and Dave their auntie and uncle. They are 100% dedicated, the facility is spotless ( and scentless!), and their felines Daphne, Wendy and Max make great hotel hosts. I needed a last minute boarding option for my cat over the holidays and KCC was great. My cat has some special needs and requires medication - he can be aggressive at times and has been known to hurt people in the past. Tiana was awesome and really paid attention to my cat's needs. She ensured he got his medication, despite hissing at her for the first three days he was there. I hope to not need to board him again as it's stressful for all involved, but if I needed to, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to KCC. Their prices are great and the staff really care. read more

I boarded my cat here for 18 days. My cat is very difficult who does not like new people or places. The owners were so great and said that they got to the point of being able to pet her a few times. The rooms for the cats are separate and they have lots of varieties of rooms at different price points. My cat had her own cat tree, bed, cube to hide in, litter box and food dishes. My fiance and I were making a week long trip to visit family this summer and were so worried about what would happen to our beloved cat during this time. She is very finicky and nervous when we are gone, even for a day so we couldn't imagine putting her in a small kennel at our vet clinic or having a friend come visit her every other day. We found Kitty Condos one night months in advance and immediately loved the different room choices and the open nature of the rooms. A small kennel just feels like a punishment that we couldn't bare. We booked months in advance and regularly checked in later on to make sure everything was good. We decided on the $19/day room (Cozy?) which was only $4 a day more expensive than the kennel at our vet for SO much more. When we dropped her off, we were welcome to stay in the room with her for as long as we wanted to help her get acquainted with the new place. We called to check up on her and they were more than patient with us as we asked all about her stay. When we went to pick her up, her room was clean, smelled nice, and everything was in order. She wouldn't eat out of her normal feeding toy ( complicated to explain ) but luckily they noticed the next morning that she was not eating and put a bowl out for her to make sure she would eat. They noticed that she would play with her toys at night even though she was very reclusive during the day. My point is, despite only being a two person business and having many other kitties to look after, they specifically remembered details about her and took care of her every need. As soon as she got home, she was back to her normal, annoying self. Best possible scenario from start to finish, we couldn't have been more pleased. Will definitely take her and any future cats back to Kitty Condos! We would give them more than 5 stars if we could! read more
