After paying on our laminate wood floors (we moved, so we no longer live in the house we put them…read morein) on time for months, we had a small amount left to pay off. Without any warning, we were slapped with almost $3000 deferred interest at 30% when the promotion ended. We called to see if we could just pay off our remaining original balance that day, but were told no. We also were told that we weren't even supposed to get that promotion and that maybe they could half the deferred interest for us. After that, my husband continued to call and eventually stopped getting a hold of people. So basically we were forced to pay another 3 grand on floors in a home we don't even live in anymore. They were unwilling to help or work with us. We will not being using them again. Go somewhere else. I don't like going with big box stores but we went with Home Depot for our flooring this time and were much more impressed.

We contacted the Countertop Place via email first with a sketch of our kitchen, then went in to choose a product, and then made the order. We waited about 2 1/2 weeks for them to be made, then installed. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have countertops made and installed! We worked with 3 different people throughout the process and all were extremely professional and easy to talk to.

I believe the driver was an employee of this company because they were driving a truck and cargo…read moretrailer displaying the company's information. The driver pulled out of a parking lot into the main road very suddenly, forcing me to quickly move into the next lane to avoid an accident. There was also a school bus behind me, so the situation felt very unsafe and stressful. I did honk out of panic, which I acknowledge may not have helped the situation. However, after we both stopped at the same stop sign, the driver began recording me instead of simply moving on. That behavior felt unprofessional and reflected poorly on the company. I hope the company addresses safe driving practices with its employees to help prevent situations like this in the future.

I told them on a room that small, only about $15,000 max. They then informed me it would take a minimum of $36,000. I told them that would too much for such a small bath especially since I only $100,000 for the whole house so they left. I ended up getting it remodeled for $7,000 plus materials, about $11,000 total. Seems the only reason they were using lubricant was to hold the sand on. I cannot recommend these people at all. Just so you know, I have an education and experience in architecture and engineering. Apparently, to them, I looked like a rube.

Our basement was…read moreunfinished when we purchased our home and they transformed it into the "home theater" of our dreams! Being our first large renovation, we had the typical worry of going over budget or the contractors cutting corners, etc. No need for worry here - everything went flawlessly. Jonathan knew our budget and didn't go a cent over his proposal. Anytime we made changes he reviewed details with us and helped find the best / lowest cost option. They worked every weekday for a month completing our job, and every employee that came in our house was polite and professional. At the end of the day, they straightened up and (literally) swept their way out the door and you couldn't even tell they were there. We will absolutely be recommending them to friends, and using them for all of our future renovations!

Chris at Chiseled did a fine job building a pantry for me based off something I loved from…read morePinterest. My space was smaller than standard sized doors would work with and required screen doors. He worked with me to brainstorm a solution that was within a price that I was willing to pay. He ended up getting two, two panel doors, cutting out the top panels and installed screens in them. The bottom panels were hollow so couldn't hold the storage/spice racks. So I found some wire spice racks of lighter weight on Amazon and, true to his word, he came back and installed them for me after I had paid him in full with no hassle. (He was the only person this happened with on my full house remodel. I had one guy refuse to come back and finish his work period. So I hired someone else to finish up, and it drug on and on with delay after delay.) The shelves he built for me are crazy strong and sturdy. I don't have to worry about overloading any of the shelves, ever! I have cats that are good at getting into places they shouldn't, he suggested a strong magnetic latch at the top and it has worked wonderfully to keep the cats out. They don't even try to get the doors open! The only way they get in there is if I leave the door(s) open to long, as I did when taking the pictures. For my kitchen I bought a whopping huge apron sink. It wouldn't fit in any standard sink base. So Chris modified a standard sink base to properly support my apron sink. I have been very pleased with his work. Everyone who sees the pantry he built, wants one just like it. I will upload photos of the pantry including the Pinterest post I modeled it after. For link to the original Pinterest post, go to my Pinterest page and look up Pantry. Should be two categories. If you work with Chris, I think you will be pleased with the results.
