Food is good. They just charge for extra sauce. Take your money to 3 chefs and a chicken. Way more food and as much sauce as you want for free. read more

Awesome food and fair price!!! I tried a mambo chop with the garlic cilantro sauce. Good service read more

Wanting something healthier while in this plaza spotted this place. I had been before years ago when it first opened and it didnt disappoint. Food choices here are similar to Kitchen chicken. You have your starch to choose from ( white or brown rice) your proteins (poultry, beef, beans, etc) dont forget your veggies and toppings like quac, sour cream, and a.varowty of sauces. I went with a chicken bowl with lettuce, tomatoes, light cheese, black beans and a cilantro garlic sauce. It was delicious and a perfect portion. Included also comes with a Pita bread but I skipped it. I left satisfied and the process was better than other places. Would come back again for the same bowl of mix it up. You know due to the pandemic tables and chairs were put away so it looks empty and from the outside even closed but pop in and check it out. The staff was friendly and right about now it's all about supporting eachother. Check it out. read more

Listen to me and ignore the other reviews. I live 5 minutes away from this place and this is my go to spot for awesome food! This place gives pollo tropical a run for there money especially because it's fresh food and no lines! Make sure to add cheese to your order it's the missing ingredient, I promise! read more

Kitchen Grill - a salad in a styrofoam container - Latin American Near Me - Homestead, Florida

Chicken is really good! And the bowl prices are super cheap. The Small bowl is like 2 meals. I usually make my own bowl; yellow rice, beans chicken, cheese, tomatoes and guac! I mean 2 meals for about $8. read more

THieves!!!!!! Ordered a an advertised special and a teriyaki chop , when I went to pay the bill that should have been 12 or so dollars came out to 28 plus. When I questioned it I was told " my bad" when she adjusted it the 5.95 special was 7.06 and the 6.95 chop was 7.59 she said tax was included. Then the screen showed tax added on the bill again. She quickly totaled and asked for the total . I have the receipt to show this. When again I questioned it I was given this dumbfounded look. It was just a few cents, but the scam is on for this place. STAY AWAY TOTAL THIEVES. NEVER AGAIN YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED read more

Overpriced and unsavory. I don't not suggest at all, $10 for the mambo, with "extra" chicken added doesn't even look like I got their normal portion of chicken, hardly any guacamole, and the saddest part that cost them literally Pennie's, is the yellow rice bed that didn't even cover the bottom of the plate. If I wanted a salad I would have gone to Panera for this. Cashier also charged two extra sauces as two extra toppings. So be careful when checking out. read more

Kitchen Grill - Mambo chop. - Latin American Near Me - Homestead, Florida

Asked person behind counter a food request (not to chop and mix my toppings) and she instantly gave me attitude. Rolling her eyes and speaking in Spanish amongst other coworkers about my request. It really wasn't serious but she made it a whole thing. You definitely don't make your customers feel as she did especially over a small request. That place will never see another cent of mine I honestly didn't want to purchase the food after her whole ordeal. read more

The service was great and we had two lovely nice ladies attending me and my boyfriend but the food was just nasty and I'm not a picky eater the chicken was dry asf and the food had no flavor. read more

We placed an order for pickup at 12:45. We were told the order would be ready by 1. When we showed up to pick up the food we were informed they had not started preparing our order yet and there wasn't any chicken cooked. We had to leave since we were on our 30 min lunch break. Seriously, get it together. I wish I had read the reviews about terrible service before I placed an order. Thankfully this location is right next to a Publix and they always come through. read more

I've attempted many times to give this location a chance to prove me wrong but, he food quality is subpar, their is always an unnecessary wait time, poor customer and the worse thing is they charge for sauces when they already have over priced food. Avoid this place, can't wait till they open up a Chicken Kitchen in Homestead. read more

Check your receipt. They are overcharging. The menu board indicates one price for a mambo chicken and then when I asked why the total was higher the young lady said the register was updated but the sign was not. I told her she needed to honor the displayed price and it was illegal to overcharge customers. I sat down and ate my food. About 10 minutes later another employee gave me back the 20 cents but the issue is what he said. He said that it was for the alleged overcharge. I sat there for about 1/2 hour. The sign was never corrected to reflect the prices the register is set to charge. Check the prices and make sure you do not get scammed. Not good or ethical customer service practices. It may just be 20 cents but they are my 20 cents. read more

First time here. Impressed at the fresh grilled chicken, but it has no seasonings. Kinda bland. We got a south beach chop. Over all ok, but not near as good as pollo tropical which is where we usually go. $5.95 for a lunch special is a good price for what you get. The Chipotle sause helps add flavor. Good staff with friendly attitudes. Just an ok place for a quick meal. read more

I tried today after seeing it there for a long time , the service was awful the girls was talking on the phone through a mike under her shirt the whole time, the chicken was the most awful I have ever had it was unseasoned it didn't even have salt The way it was served and packaged was sloppy . I must say the yellow rice was good. I picked the chicken out and ate the rice! Ah also the yellow sauce it's not cury like the girl stated it is more like honey mustard read more

Cheap, quick grab-n-go lunch or dinner. If I don't feel like cooking, I love swinging by Kitchen Grill. The chicken is always fresh off the grill, and of decent quality. The portions are huge, and I can usually squeeze two meals out of even the smaller size. I also like the selection of sauces: Chimichurri, Jalapeno, Pico de Gallo, Curry, Teriyaki, to name just a few. Kitchen Grill is a much cleaner, healthier alternative to all of the other fast food joints in the area. In fact, I think I'm going to swing by right now! read more

I arrived at the restaurant at 7 p.m. tonight (Sunday) only to find the door locked, and the two young men working the shift sitting down, enjoying a plate of food. When look at their door for hours, they don't have a closing time listed for Sunday's. When I tried to open the door again just to make sure, they look at me, and just laugh. I went on Google to search what their closing time is and it is 7:30 p.m. This business is clearly a joke. Avoid them! read more

Giving a 2 star rating just because I feel bad. I ordered the Mambo Chop and there's nothing to mambo about. Apart from being tasteless, the chicken was extremely dry. Canned soda was warm. The curry mustard was sweet?! Chicken Kitchen knock off. Don't recommend. read more

Not great but still a good place to eat. The chicken hasn't been dry one time that I have gone which I definitely cant say about A LOT of other restaurants. If customers service was a little better they'd have a 4 read more

They got my order wrong, I called, spoke with a gentleman and he says I can bring it back for either a refund and will do whatever to make it right. Drive back and then it was a different story that they can't refund or change my order after speaking with a manager, . Another words I was stuck with a meal I didn't want. $18 down the drain but my dogs enjoyed it... read more

Started coming here after the Chicken Kitchen closed. The food is good sometimes and then other times can be subpar. The service, depending on the person serving you and their mood, is meh. The girls flirt a lot with the male customers, old and young, and neglect the other customers waiting in line. I'm all about customer service and being friendly, but a 5 minute convo at the cash register after the guys have signed the credit card receipt or received their change is a little ridiculous. They know where you work so they know where to return to find you if they're interested. As far as the food.....sometimes it is seasoned well, and other times it is barely seasoned. I gave them 3 stars because it is the closest option besides Publix that has healthy food. read more

Good food horrible service. Only a couple good employees. Most lazy and rude. They try to get away with not preparing the food the way you order it (example ordered a south beach chop, employee puts all the food in the box and never chops it). Continually changing the price on things. The chicken is good but the service needs improvement. I just called to check the time the store closes and the worker answered the phone and said "yeah". Get it together please. read more

The chicken was dry and flavorless, I really hate that. The mexican looking lady behind the counter with the huge mole on her face, had a freakin attitude problem. The food was shitty and so was the service. This place was a waste of money. This was my first and last time coming here. 0 stars..... read more

I loved it... but recent has been cutting down on rations. They slice the chicken diagonally, you end up with a quarter of a chicken breast for your chop. Only reason I go back is because of the sauces. Without them the food would be real plain. I pay just about the same at pollo tropical for a 2 boneless chicken breast meal, and it it doesn't need sauce but they do have a nice selection....besides this food is good :) read more

Went in on a Sunday, waited 10 minutes in line only to be told they were closing and only had chicken, lettuce, and tomato left to serve. There are no times on the door to communicate their hours. The kid wasn't very friendly about kicking us out! read more

I went on a Wednesday at 7:15 pm. The restaurant was entirely empty, except for one employee sitting in the corner eating while reading her cell phone. I asked her if there was someone working and she didn't say a word. Just went back to her phone. Unbelievable. Finally someone emerged from the back and asked me if I needed help. She wasn't particularly friendly. I ordered a large mambo chop to go. The place just felt dirty and unkempt. There were about 10 cooked chicken breasts on the grill, and I worried about how long they had been sitting there. The containers of sour cream, guacamole, cheese, etc. were all sitting open and sideways behind the counter. The girl who made my chop cut chicken and vegetables on the same cutting board, a definite breeding ground for bacteria. Cross contamination is inevitable in a situation like that. I was hungry, so I took the food home and ate it. I was a little worried that I might get sick but fortunately I didn't. But for ambience, cleanliness, employee friendliness, this place is really awful. I definitely will not be back. They are nothing like chicken kitchen that they are so clearly trying to rip off. read more

Fresh, quick and easy. If you're health-conscious this is far better than typical fast food and if you need a quick fix and don't have time for typical restaurant setting this is worth a shot read more

Food was good. Service was horrible. I couldn't hear the guys because there music was so loud. It was hard to order with juveniles slow motion playing loud in the back ground. Shame! read more

Not a fan anymore... Months ago I enjoyed my experience at Chicken Grill...I went in the evenings..the young men were polite and always smiling. Custumer service was great. They have since left and the young hispanic ladies are horrible. They will see you in line first but will speak spanish to the customer behind you to help them. When I said something to her she frowned. She then gave me the smallest amount of food Ive ever gotten there.. I pay 9$ each time I go and the same thing, so I switch to the Kitchen Chicken way on SW 152. They will overcharge you too. Check you receipt. Never again. read more

very disappointed went there cause a coworker said it was better than the chicken kitchen in the area but I don't think so asked for a large salad chop they said they don't have that so I said no rice just lettuce they start making the food I'm watching they serve my friends he got a regular size when they start with mine I see it's the same size I tell the lady mine is large and thats the same as his she looked at me like I was crazy I said mine is large not regular she finally finished it was edible but no chicken kitchen and the sauce was horrible read more

If I could put zero stars I would. I placed an order for delivery and took over an hour to get delivered when promised by 25 minutes and I live less than 3 minutes away. Then when I received the food the order was wrong. The only reason I didn't pick up the food was because I didn't have my car with me. I went back when I did have my car and sent my son to ask for a refund and they were rude to him because they assumed he didn't speak Spanish and refused to issue a refund without returning the food. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life and will not be going back here again. Will also let everyone I know to not support this business, absolutely disgusted. read more

Good basic food! Clean facility. Nice people. Service is always fast when we go in and the prices are reasonable. Staff even helped us out one day when we had a car problem.
