I'm incredibly frustrated that my bankruptcy case still has not been submitted. I completed and…read morereturned all necessary paperwork on Monday May 13th. Today marks 34 business days since the signed paperwork was returned. I received an email from Mr. Zippers paralegal on May 27th stating my case would be filed that week, yet here we are on July 2nd -- more than a full month and 25 business days later -- with no action taken. This delay is completely UNACCEPTABLE. The lack of communication is UNACCEPTABLE. I have called multiple times (2-3 times a week) and I receive the same vague response each time... "It is on the Attorneys desk for review", "I will have him call you back", "I'm sorry for the delay, I will give Robert your message again"

I hired Mr Zipperer for a Bankruptcy case in 2023 which was finalized and completed. While the case…read morewas indeed handled, the communication on the process, etc. was almost non-existent. Here 2 years later I received a legal notice from one of the Lenders included in the discharge stating they had not received the discharge paperwork. After emailing Mr Zipperer with the notice and politely requesting instruction on what to do about the notice, I received no response and therefore I contacted his office by phone. The staff member who answered my call said "I don't know what your talking about. We get hundreds of emails a day and cant possibly read them all." Obviously I was a bit taken back by the level of unprofessional response coming what I would assume to be a business where email communication with his clients would be extremely important since we all know how next to impossible it is to reach them via phone. Therefore I filled her in about the notice. She told me "that is the trustee's job not ours, you don't need to do anything." (In spite of this being a legal notice, filed with the County Court, and addressed directly to me.) Again, quite taken back by this unprofessional response. I asked if she could have Mr Zipperer reach back out to me to confirm, to ensure there will not be any negative repercussions from ignoring this. Her reply was "he isn't going to do that." In summary, I am left with a strong sense that you are only important to them up until you have paid them, and God forbid anything comes up after the case, because the exchange I described makes it clear, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN! Therefore my take is if you hire this firm, you are basically paying them to do some paperwork for you and will receive little to no actual representation and certainly very little aid in understanding the process, and as they say "No service after the sale"
