On my first visit, I met with Dr. Wu. We went over the issues that I had been experiencing, during a consultation, and then we began my treatment. It started with electroacupunture and followed with cupping. This was the first time having traditional cupping done. It really loosened up my muscles and alleviated some of my pain. I continued seeing Dr. Wu and his staff, and always felt well taken care of. The facility is clean and calming. The staff is patient, soft spoken, and puts you at ease. The services are reasonable in price and I've never had to wait for my session to start. They have a small parking lot but it gets the job done, as there are not many people that visit at one time. I halted my sessions at the end of last year around the holidays due to a long trip that I took with family, from Christmas until after the new year. I have been pretty busy, so it's been difficult to schedule a session but I definitely an to return. They are only a 15 minute drive and I feel like a million bucks after each session.

After seeing many doctors & trying everything from physical therapy to trigger point injections, still no relief. But after just my first session with Carmen for a medical massage, my pain decreased significantly. My doctor wrote a prescription for a medical massage once a month. But after feeling the significant improvement in my level of pain, I decided to do it every 2 weeks. Although the process can be a bit uncomfortable at times, the results are truly extraordinary. I would much rather be a bit uncomfortable for a few minutes, than continue to suffer from excruciating pain every single day. The staff are also very nice & the facility is meticulously clean.

The Cliffnotes Review: Dr. Handler helped my achieve my…read moregoals to improve my mobility and minimize pain. The Unabridged Review: In January 2020 I sought out Dr. Handler for Active Release Therapy due to iliopsoas tendonitis. Originally, I intended to receive 12 office visits with him; however, COVID19 interrupted those plans, and managed to get eight visits in before NYS went on "pause." That being said, Dr. Handler helped me by providing the ART treatments themselves, as well as specific exercises to be done at home. Additionally, Dr. Handler also provided cupping therapy, as well as chiropractic adjustments as part of my treatment plan. During the shut down, the exercises at home, along with the "contact avoidance" I was avoiding grabbing railings to get up and down stairs, I have experienced a more pronounced improvement in my conditions. While my issues aren't 100% resolved (and doubtful they ever will be completely 100% resolved), Dr. Handler was able to provide effective pain relief and improved mobility in a more obvious way where ART from another practitioner, as well as various injections from physiatrists failed. Dr. Handler is a capable and caring chiropractor, who is open/receptive to input/feedback from his patients, and has a pleasant personal demeanor and conversational style. Other things worthwhile sharing: Pricepoint: I found his office fees to be reasonable, especially given the level of care and attention provided.

Based on SportsPlus's outstanding five-star ratings and its convenient location close to my home, I decided to give them a try, and I'm so glad I did. From my very first phone call through every visit, the entire team has made this a wonderful, positive experience. The front desk staff is always welcoming and professional, and the atmosphere makes me actually look forward to my appointments. They call me when something opens up knowing that I'm only walking distance away. My therapist, Carl, has been incredible. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and gentle in his approach. After my total knee replacement only 3 weeks ago, he is still guiding me through every step of my recovery, and together we've made tremendous progress. Even my surgeon has been extremely impressed with how well I'm doing, and my range of motion. If you're trying to decide where to go for physical therapy, I can confidently say you've found the right place. I highly recommend SportsPlus and if you have the opportunity to work with Carl, or Alex you'll be in excellent hands! The office also has a Chiropractor on staff but I have not tried his services yet! But I will in the future as I am a firm believer in chiropractic care.
