I stand by the fact that I was not made aware nor did I request the test that was done and that I am now forced to pay almost $600 for. This office should be investigated for their practices and their lack of empathy or concern towards their patients. Billing and doing unnecessary tests on patients should be against the law but some how Stamford health and this office seems to get away with it. I am appalled and the experienced I've received in this office. It is a true shame because before this (and seeing this new doctor) I have only had good experiences with Dr Jhunja, despite the low quality front desk and management in this office. *** Update *** I have now left 4-5 voicemails for the manager (Christina) to call me, she has zero regards for my concerns and issues since she hasn't bothered to call me back. Dr. Robin is more thorough then any doctor has ever been. She spends a good 45 minutes each time fixing them up. No doctor has ever spent more than 15 minutes with them before running on to the next patient. She explains everything so we understand what is wrong and she works to prevent it from happening again. Most of the time she runs on time. I'm sure we are the family that screws up her schedule when we come. Her office is not new and shiny like most modern doctors but don't let that discourage you because the care is very old-school thorough.

I kept asking where the PT was and they said she would be over shortly. She spent 10 minutes with me and gave me off to her assistant. When I asked what was the 4th exercise I did on my initial visit she said I have 24 patients and I don't know. I canceled all my other appointments and I'll return to HSS where I can get all my care by a PT. I know this is owned by a venture capitalist and the care is not great and rushed. I suggest you use HSS PT and not here!!!!

I went to Dr. Clain at ONS after being told by another doctor that I would wear a brace for the…read morerest of my life. Dr. Clain did extensive surgey on my foot, replacing a tendon, pinning a hammertoe, repairing a bunion, and correcting my alignment. Five months after surgery I spent a week hiking in the Adirondacks, including completing a 7 mile hike with 2100 feet of ascent. I continue to improve every day and am thrilled to have my active life back! The surgical experience was great, including their excellent pain management plan which kept me very comfortable without the use of narcotics. Dr. Clain could be a plastic surgeon. As extensive as my surgery was, my scarring is minimal and very well hidden. The practice is very well run. I have always been seen quickly and the appointments are always very efficient. I highly recommend this practice and especially recommend Dr. Clain!

It is my pleasure to write this review of Dr. Jeffrey Heftler who cared for me this winter when I…read moresuffered from a L5-S1 herniated disc. He first tried conservative measures which helped some of the pain, but we progressed in measured fashion to an epidural injection which alleviated 80% of my pain. I was still recovering from left rotator cuff surgery, but I have to say that I suffered much more from the herniated disc. Dr. Heftler always responded promptly with compassion and a detailed explanation of his treatment plan. I could also get a rapid phone responses and appointments with him. His down to earth demeanor and sense of humor always reassured me and I left his office with an optimistic outlook. I only required one of a potential three epidural Injections and with gentle stretching, PT and most of all, patience I am now pain free. I waited until I could make this statement after playing 2 consecutive rounds of golf in Florida before I posted this review- 3 months after my MRI. He is a great clinician and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to avoid back surgery after a significant herniated disc. From my very first phone call through every visit, the entire team has made this a wonderful, positive experience. The front desk staff is always welcoming and professional, and the atmosphere makes me actually look forward to my appointments. They call me when something opens up knowing that I'm only walking distance away. My therapist, Carl, has been incredible. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and gentle in his approach. After my total knee replacement only 3 weeks ago, he is still guiding me through every step of my recovery, and together we've made tremendous progress. Even my surgeon has been extremely impressed with how well I'm doing, and my range of motion.
