I fracture/dislocated a toe running into a toddler wagon. I went to Dr Kirlin. I was shocked when he took adhesive tape from a drawer and tore it into 4 strips. He taped the toe to the one next to it. Medicare charged $3600. for that plus the xray his MOA took. The toe healed bent regardless of it being taped. Now I cannot wear any type of heels or sandals with a strap over the toes. I need surgery to correct the bent toe. It is bent to the piubt that it gets raw from rubbing on the toebox of most of my shoes; limiting what I can wear.
I won't be returning to him...even if he was the only Podiatrist in town. These charges for that service are why our Healthcare System has so many issues.
