I have been getting my hair cut at a chain type salon for awhile and never quite got what i wanted out of them. They just don't seem to know how to do men's hair right. So, I looked into an actual Barber shop tried Randy's place out. This will be my go-to place until he decides to call it a career. My experience had that familiar old-school barbershop feel. From the great banter, to not having to draw a damn diagram of what I needed done, to the straight razor finish, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. More importantly, I looked like a million bucks after he was done. read more

My son has been wanting to find a barber shop that gave him "real barber shop vibes" and still gave him and excellent cut. He has a ton of hair and is often disappointed with his cuts. As part of his 16th birthday celebration today, we stopped at Kirkpatrick's and we're more than pleasantly surprised. He got the "vibe" he's been looking for and a great cut AND the price was great! We will definitely be going back! read more

Kirkpatrick's Barber Shop - Barbers Near Me - Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Outstanding experience. Fast and great cut. Good stories. Solid overall experience. Thank you.

Stopped by while on a business trip in the area. Haven't been to a barber in nearly 20 years. Great cut. Great value. Brought back many memories of great barbers from my past. Highly recommended. read more

Best barber in town. Extremely military friendly! Very easy to make and switch appointments on-line. Fast service with great quality.

Wonderful little barbershop. Very clean, very hospitable. Randy gave me a great haircut. He has been doing this for over 30 years and loves what he does and it shows. I was in town for a wedding and I had made an appointment and arrived a little early and he got me in and cut before my appointment time. Very satisfied with the whole experience. Next time I'm in Carlisle I will be coming back. read more

Very pleased with my 7 year old son's first barber shop experience. Much better than any salon he's been to. Thank-you!

Great service by a honest barber. I just moved to the area and was looking for a new barber. I requested an appointment through Yelp (use his website instead) and had an appointment the next day. Great job on the haircut, service was on time. He was professional, polite and best of all a good barber. Glad I found his shop, I will be back. read more

Truly great place to get your hair cut! Friendly, professional and great prices. This will continue to be my #1 spot to get a hair cut in the Carlisle area. read more

My first time here. Newish to the area I wanted an inexpensive, good, traditional cut. I found it here. $14 gets you a great cut, warm towel finish and a really nice guy who enjoys what he is doing. I waited only a few minutes and was out of there in 20ish minutes. Cheap and abundant parking nearby (this is Carlisle, not Harrisburg ). I'll be back. read more

In a world where manliness is now criticized as offensive, this is the last great hair-cutting establishment. This is the barbershop will take you back to a simpler time, where you went in, maybe read a magazine, and then talked to your barber as if he was a close friend or relative while he cut your hair. If you don't want to sit across from your aunt Sally in some salon where it is 45 dollars for a low fade, this is your barbershop. That aside, this is an extremely professional barber and I have been going there off and on for several years (I usually cut my own hair but actually stopped because at this place you're paying for an experience AND a hair cut). I have never received a haircut that was anything less than perfect from Kirkpatrick's. My haircuts were finished with a straight razor neck shave and a hot steam towel, just like the old days. A haircut is 14 dollars which I think is reasonable (if you are paying a person who went to school to cut hair any less than 14 dollars for a haircut then you are probably not getting a good haircut anyway). If you are in the Carlisle/mechanicsburg/camphill/harrisburg area and want a haircut done the right way in a REAL barbershop, then do yourself a favor and come to Kirkpatrick's. read more

What a pleasure! Randy is just what you want in a barber -- easy conversation, knowledgable and skilled, no nonsense, and fast. We travel all over the country in our RV and getting a good haircut can be a crapshoot. Not here. You won't be disappointed if you visit Randy. read more

In the year since I've moved to carlisle I visit this shop about every other week. He's got my business and my girlfriend approves of the hair cuts I receive! read more

Outstanding barber shop! Randy is true pro - excellent customer service, fast, and reasonably priced. He also cuts both of my sons' hair (4 and 8) - my wife says Randy is the first barber that has been able to tame my younger son's cow lick. I highly recommend Kirkpatrick's! read more

If there ever are doubts about a barber's dedication, ask to see his tattoos... That said, this barber knows his craft. As a top musician gracefully exercises his craft making it look easy, so too does this barber put on an enjoyable show. Five stars. If you are looking for an authentic barber, you simply must try this place. I discovered this place while researching barbers who are proficient with facial hair grooming. I have discovered that I can rock a handlebar mustache and beard...but I didn't know how to keep it from rocking out of control. Randy listened, got to know what I wanted, then I shut up and listened to his wisdom. My stache and beard are now well groomed and I couldn't be happier or more confident about managing my new-found-fondness for my facial hair. My hair was another fix. "First, let's just even up what you've got", he said as he examined the vestigial remains a SuperCuts massacre. Now I'm quaffed like a Mad man. Check out his website, check out his tattoos, check out this dedicated, old school barber who can bring your grooming experience back from the effeminate sad, impersonal, chop shop. Be a man. Go here for a shave and a haircut. read more

Went here on a Friday expecting to be waiting in a long line, I was in and out in no time with an awesome cut. Even if there had been a wait, the cut was quick and precise. This man knows what he's doing from customer service down to the details that separate the average barber from an excellent barber. I'll be back for sure. read more

Excellent place, service is top notch, the attention to detail and price. Classic barber!

Kirkpatrick's Barber Shop is the quintessential Barber Shop. The barber, Randy, is a seasoned professional, who has the talent and confidence to handle any customer's haircut needs. Friendly, competent, and deliberate. You come out of there knowing your haircut was done well and you look your best. He caters to everyone and you feel welcome, especially with the hot towel that finishes up the job, and you feel refreshed. Worth the price, and the time. read more
