I love this school! I found out about it from a friend who was a teacher at one of the schools in DC and I knew I had to check it out! The waitlist for Comienza was soooo long but I am glad when we got the Corazon call. My son is a founding student and this campus has always exceeded our expectations! From teacher communication and involvement they just do so well. My son has gotten lucky having amazing teachers as well, Ms Baroudos, who he had for 2 years was beyond amazing. She genuinely cared and her hard work and time never went unnoticed. With virtual learning the campus has continued to work hard for all students. I love the fact that my sons teacher is only a text away. Super communicative and supporting as we venture into this virtual learning. I honestly can't wait until my second son enrolls and hopes he gets the same teachers as my first as they have made such a huge impact on my first born! I definitely recommend this school to anyone looking. I am not from the LA area originally so I was nervous to say the least. However, KIPP has always been a great and safe space! read more

School is horrible. Always had fights and ended up on the news because of it. Upper school is terrible. Kids rude to one another and teachers do nothing but call their parents like its going to change their mind. Never bring your kids unless you want them to be a bad kid.​ read more

Best thing I could've done was enroll my son into such a great caring school! Excited for my sons future while attending KIPP! I have two daughters ages 7 and 6 and both started at Kipp Corazon since Kindergarten. I am extremely pleased with the decision to have my daughters attend this school. It was actually my daughter's preschool director who recommended this school and from the moment I attended the informational meeting, I knew this was the school for them. I loved the focus on academics, leadership, and community. But honestly, it wasn't until my daughter's actually started attending school where I confirmed that Kipp Corazon was the school for us. Aside from the focus on academics and leadership, I really love the sense of community that us parents, students, and staff have created. It's comforting knowing that my daughters teachers, including the school's administration, are only a phone call (or text/email) away. I think this school is great because parents and teachers care about all students and their academic growth. At Kipp Corazon, not only do they value diversity but also inclusion, believing that ALL students matter and have the potential needed to be great.
