Smaller, cozy full of character Bar area and the whole place is filled with bottles. 5 tables outside but for me inside was much more interesting. I ordered a Verdejo and my Server brought out a complimentary tomato Tapa and Salami. Tomatoes were super fresh and slightly salted-delicious! Everything on the menu looked good! I ordered the Sturgeon, Foie Gras and White Sausage. The Sturgeon was exquisite with the tomatoes and peppers pairing perfectly! Should have taken the big order. Foie Gras and white sausage (mild) were simple, tasty and didn't disappoint. My Server was friendly and worked to bring out the dishes as they were ready given my time crunch. About an 8 minute walk from the city center and well worth it. Make the stop for some high quality/reasonably priced Tapas and Wine in a unique space.

The wines by the glass were all lovely options, but you do get what you pay for. Get the more expensive option of the Duero del Ribera. We did not have reservations, but we were there early-ish (8:30PM) on a Monday, so it wasn't a problem.

There's only one outdoor table; the rest of the seating is inside, so depends on your luck whether you can snag a spot. Luckily for us, there was one empty table inside. I got a glass of white wine for 3.70€ and my friend had a small beer for 2.60€. With each of our wine orders, you can order a small dish from the menu. It was nice having the option to choose, since most of the other bars I went to didn't give you a choice. The menu has a good selection of meat, seafood, and vegetarian options. I was already full at this point from bar/tapas hopping, but my friend got the chicken in spicy Thai sauce and really enjoyed it. There are several tables inside, but on these summer nights we took a table outside on the terrace, facing the ocean. Our dog was welcome here as well. First night we chose the package deal of 6x Tapas of your own choice, a Jamon and Cheese plater together with a bottle of wine for only 35 Euros. Which is great value. The other night we had some Tapas, a plate of Shrimps and a bottle of wine which came together at 40 Euros. The Tapas here are of great quality. The Shrimp, Mushroom, Anchovies, Sardine, Meatball and Eggplant Tapas were really nice, good spices too. But two Tapas I really wanna point out especially: Curry Potatoes and the Satay-style Chicken Skewers. Both had a wonderfully spiced flavour, a bit Moroccan or Middle-Eastern inspired by the flavour it had. Fantastic items, which we ordered both nights....couldn't get enough of these. Bread was super fresh and hard to avoid! Our dinner was the star however, wish I remembered the Spanish name, but basically we ordered local pork pan seared to perfection, Served with smashed potatoes. The dish was accompanied with local olive oil. Every bite melted in your mouth...so so good.

To their credit, the service was the "best" (most attentive, by US standards) of almost anywhere we've been in Spain so far. That said, the food was average and at least partially frozen-reheated. The cod and oxtail were both cooked pretty well, but didn't come out entirely hot. I'm pretty sure the roast potatoes with most dishes were frozen/reheated since they were a bit sqiushy, and so were the green peas and such. Bread came automatically but was commercial and nothing special. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't especially great either.

The weight staff was impressive, recognizing new arrivals in the crowded quickly getting us drinks, taking care of everything after a couple of beers, we got a table. (Note that the restaurant is on both sides of the pedestrian street! ) Our waiter was cheerful and amusing. Although we mostly spoke Spanish, his English was quite good in the din of the small room. Better was the food . A really pleasant surprise. A major plus is the atmosphere which feels really authentically Spanish with a largely local crowd that night. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
