We were wondering what we should got for lunch. Found this restaurant on the web, all the pictures looked great. So we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was actually bigger than I imagined and much better decorated. It looked just like a prefect place to have a meal. The location is just great, very close to all the famous sights in Dresden. I really enjoyed my view when I having my meal there. The food is great. My order was crispy duck, that was really delicious. I could have more of it. But i did't want to be too full, since later on i had to do lot of walking. The potion of each dish was totally enough as a meal. I also ordered their special drink, which looked a bit like ice latte. But taste a bit sweeter. I like it anyway. There were many other dishes I would like to try on the manu. I might try it next time then .The service was also great, really friendly. I think this is a great place for who people who loves Asian kitchen. read more

I eat Vietnamese food frequently in the US, and my experience in Germany has been that the stuff in Germany is often not as good (at least by my standards). This place was an exception...the food here was excellent. I did not have the Pho (I noticed one reviewer was critical of it) so I cannot comment on that, but the two dishes we ordered when I came here were excellent. I had a squid dish, and we also got bun (a rice noodle dish). Both dishes were exquisite...vegetables were very fresh, the stir frying was done just perfectly, leaving the squid very tender. Also, my dish was HOT. I love Germany so much, but I get so sick of seeing stuff labelled "scharf" only to find it barely has any bite whatsoever. This place included real hot peppers--stuff with Asian levels of heat, not German levels--and there was also a traditional hot sauce on the side (Sambal Oelek style), in addition to them offering Sriracha if you want. The traditional hot sauce was hotter than Sriracha and less sweet, and I loved it. I would heartily recommend this place. I have yet to have good Pho in Germany (haven't tried it here so I can't comment) but the Bun and the other squid stir fry dish here were among the best examples of Vietnamese food that I've tried anywhere, and would definitely rank among the best ones even in the US where I have access to great Vietnamese food in most big cities. read more

Another update. Their service is still good and efficient. My wife and I both enjoyed our meals. I had a bun nem which was not quite what I expected after visiting Vietnam and living in the US, but still very tasty. My wife had a large bowl of soup with wontons ... Again, same reaction but still a great meal. Well worth a visit if you're in for a break from the schnitzel. read more

Hubby and I came here for dinner while on vacation, desperately craving Vietnamese food after two weeks of meat and potatoes. Given the shortage of Asian restaurants in Dresden (and our super high expectations having grown up in traditional Vietnamese households), we were not expecting authentic Vietnamese cuisine, which helped pad the four-star rating. I got the mien xào gà (stir-fry glass noodles with chicken) and hubby got the bún thit nuong (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles). Both dishes were delicious, and the portions were so large that we were able to take it home as a second meal. The price tag was much steeper than I would've liked, but given the scarcity of Vietnamese restaurants in Dresden and our desperation for a familiar meal, we were pleased with this discovery. If we are ever back in Dresden, I would absolutely consider returning to this restaurant. read more

Worst Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been to. Granted it is in Germany, but nothing was prepared correctly or authentically. Pho had wrong noodles and meat, no seperate vegetables, spring rolls came with egg roll sauce. One dish I ordered they tried to serve after I already finished my meal and paid the bill. really really great ! amazing homemade Lemonade with lime and ginger .. just to die for the food .. well it was just fantastic .. unbeatable Pho Soup with Beef and noodles. the food doesn't come immediately which for me is a sign that they are actually cooking properly .. it just tasted amazing and we are definitely going back the deco is an acquired taste .. but its about the food which is amazing done ! read more

This is my favorite asian place in Dresden by far. The service is nice. The food takes a bit but probably it's because its freshly prepared. I love nem rolls as a starter and the hot plate chicken or duck as main course even if it's a bit more expensive. The standard dishes like chicken in red curry sauce are pretty good as well. You can definitely pay with card there. read more
