To…read moremake matters a bit more interesting, my wife and I made the purchase in Lancaster, PA while we were still living in California. Which, would probably seem like a nightmare of a challenge. I can't describe how grateful and fortunate we feel about having Amy as our agent through the process. She has gone above and beyond, every step of the way, from prospecting houses, setting up virtual viewings for me, walking me through the whole process, and making me feel secure in every decision. There was a lot of back and forth with a handful of sellers and I never would have been able to navigate it all without Amy's experience and support. I don't want to over hype Amy, because certainly, our circumstances were uniquely challenging, buying a home from across the country, but Amy has done so much to go out of her way to ensure that the house is set up and ready for us after we make the drive across the country. She helped with the purchase and installation of a fridge and washer and dryer, facilitated the delivery of our bed so we have somewhere to sleep when we arrive, and has been 1,000% attentive to every single one of our needs through the process. This person is literally an Angel, is extremely responsive, and genuinely cares about the quality of your experience, as you take the leap into home ownership. We felt truly cared for and I can safely say that there's no way you'll do better with another agent if you're looking to buy a home in the area.

If you want someone who will get you into a new listing early, knows what's coming on the market,…read moreand will get you the property you want - go with Mick. He's part of the Berkshire Hathaway group I believe. We have bought and sold 3 houses now...and as a buyers agent, Mick is the best we've had. Here's why: - He is fast and good with communication. He was accessible, responsive, and able to answer questions quickly... - He knows the market amazingly well. When looking in Lancaster city itself, he was ON IT. He knew exactly what houses were worth, what was opening up (and why), and how quickly to move on a property if you're interested. - He only shows you things that you say you want. You know how some agents will send you listings that you'd never be interested in? Mick seemed to *get* our taste immediately, and everything he showed us was relevant. We found a house very quickly. - He can do everything electronically. For us as an "out of state" buyer, this was a LIFESAVER! We could sign documents easily, and get the deal done quickly. No faxing, no mailing or overnight stuff. - He was brilliant at negotiation, straight forward with advice, and goes to bat for you. We listened to him around what houses were worth, how fast they were going, and bid accordingly. He was also honest around what we could negotiate and what we couldn't. We listened to him, and everything went incredibly smooth. From what we've seen...the city of Lancaster is really on the brink of a boom. Tech companies are moving in, restaurants are coming in, and real estate is moving fast. If you want someone who can keep up with the pace and get a deal done quickly - Mick is the man. I really can't say enough good things about him. Really solid.
