Brought my black BMW 650i Convertible here for a detail, particularly wanted the exterior focused on and just the seats of the interior cleaned. For over $200 - the exterior detail is sub-par. There's still fine lines and really no sheen and shine to the car as one would expect after a full exterior detail. They forgot to do my seats, so I made a second (inconvenient) appointment to get those done. When I showed up exactly on time, I had to sit out on the road idling, wasting valuable time, blocking traffic - behind 3 other cars lined up to get in. No communication from the staff there on how to proceed. The whole experience was quite sub-par. *Do not recommend* *note* Owner replied to me via google reviews lecturing me condescendingly (big surprise) blaming me for his lousy work and about how I should spend my money. For $140 all-in, I recently had my Infiniti (black) Q50 detailed in and out - to perfection(!) at a nearby competitor. It's very telling when an owner of a business turns out shoddy work, then blames the customer on social media. My advice to you Kingsway Detailing: Have some pride in your work and offer value to every client, regardless of their needs. read more

I'm sure I have the dirtiest car on record having used it for dogs at all times of the year to and from dog parks and I'm talking multiple dogs. I could take out handfuls of sand and fur after 4 years. Kingsway Auto Detailing cleaned it SO well, I didn't recognize my car on pick-up. Just got a Mazda protege shampooed and detailed here for resale. The staff are nice and the owner (at least I assume he's the owner) gave me a pretty good deal since there was also pet hair removal that needed to be done. It took about 4hrs but my car smells nice and clean now instead of like road trip and dog farts. Just make sure you have something plan to stay busy. I doubt you'll want to hang around the shop for anything but the quickest of car cleanings. For those with higher end vehicles, there is a Benz SUV and a Porsche getting cleaned today. Also, as I'm waiting for them to finish up, the owner has told me that he checks everything before the car goes. Super nice guy. I did the Winter Protection package, full interior and exterior detail. These guys turned my car which hadn't been cleaned in a long time, into a sparkling shine that looked and smelled better than new. Any swirls that were on the car as a result of the years of use are nowhere to be seen. I was impressed with the level of detail that they performed on the interior. It's like they were in there with a bloody q-tip, getting all the nooks and crannies to a shine. To boot, these guys are a local family owned business, their team is very friendly and I cant wait to get it cleaned here again. read more

Unprofessional work and service. For 500 dollars I still had tar on the side skirts (which is why I brought it there) and my mirror adjustment knob in the centre console was snapped off (not fun to have replaced in a 20 year old car) Then the guy drove it out of the shop dropping a curb, nearly curbing a 1000 dollar rim. Had to argue with the guy to get my money back; not good for business bud. If your car is a piece of crap and you don't care about it MAYBE take it here. If you care about anything you own do not let these scumbags touch it. read more

Took my abused 2007 g35x into Kingsway for a complete detail + paint correction. Looks like a brand new car. Looks amazing now. Great work!

I regretted taking my car there to wash. I requested a quote on the phone for exterior car wash, they said it's a package costs $65, I am fine with it and went there on the next day. They asked me to go there at 11am. The weird thing was their door was closed, only a gap was opened so I went in there. No one is there until I walked inside with two employees washing a car. One of them said the boss was inside the room. I waited for the boss and he accessed my car and said it would cost $100 to wash it (general cleaning inside the car, not detailed cleaning), fine I said. He asked me to come back at 2pm. When I went back, the boss is nowhere to be seen. One of the employees said it costs $100. I asked can I paid by visa? He said if you do, you gotta wait for the boss, then I said I could pay cash because I was in a hurry. Then I asked for a receipt. He said oh I don't know how to do a receipt, let me called my boss... He talked to the boss on the phone and he said oh, if you want a receipt you need to pay tax and you have to wait for my boss for 30 minutes. I think this is ridiculous and I just left. After I drove my car to pickup my friend, she looked inside and said, I don't think they cleaned your car. I am confused then I started looking around. oh my god I found all the water marks and dirt all over inside which weren't there before I took the car to wash. Please don't take your car there to wash, they would ruined it. There should be no star for them. read more

An update on my earlier review: these guys broke our radio during the detail, but initially I had only the evidence that the radio worked fine when I brought it in, and didn't work when I left. Now, that's pretty conclusive to me, but here's the real nail in the coffin: I brought the radio in a couple of weeks later to have it replaced at Best Buy. I asked if I could see the factory radio when they took it out and if they could determine the reason it failed. It was, in fact, very obvious - the top of the factory radio is half-covered in a large sticker, and you could clearly see where a pool of liquid had been poured on top. It was even slightly damp still. The other half was metal and holes (like a typical radio) and whatever liquid was poured in simply entered the radio and shorted it out. Based on the fact that this place broke our radio, which cost more to replace than the whole detail in the first place, and wouldn't own up to the damage, I cannot recommend it. read more

These guys did a great job with my car.. it was filthy inside and also the wheels were really dirty. I got my car back and it looked like new.. interior was completely sparkling, seats were fresh and clean and I really don't think my car has been as clean as this since the day I bought it. Also, they fully cleaned the tires to look like new. I spent a fair bit of money on the service, but if you do this once every couple years, I feel like its worth it. read more

I had my car detailed here last year. It was ok. While the inside was well done (mind you, my car is very clean to begin with), they did not do a very good job on the outside. I've had the same results when I've gone to a hand car wash. Best part - when I brought it in, they owner told me that he will not charge me tax and knock off a percentage if I pay in cash. Ameal and his team truly did an outstanding job. I drive a white Mazda3 from 2004 and over the years it has sustaned a few scratches and the paint had lost its luster. They did a cut polish job and my car looks new again. They even buffed out a few scratches. I would absolutly recomend Kingsway Auto to anyone that needs to renew the look of their vehicle. The work done on the interior detail was done very well. The car was spotless. Especially as I have a dog that makes a mess of things in the fur department. They were able to get me in promptly for service, which was nice. I'm glad I had read reviews as if I was booking and the service I received on the phone was my first impression I may have been skeptical. It just was rushed and you could tell it was a shop person kind of in the middle of something. Felt very rushed and I did have some questions. When I did arrive the gentlemen was very friendly. He did a thorough inspection of the vehicle which I appreciated. I did think the price was a bit expensive for just an interior detail. That being said the last one I had done was in a small city in Ontario. Their prices could very well be on par with Vancouver competitors. The team at Kingsway Auto Detailing Centre did a fantastic job with my car! In the past 7 years I've taken it to many places in California and in Vancouver to be cleaned, including several "full details" but no one has ever made it look this good. They somehow magically removed all of the dog hair - a feat no one else, despite charging me "pet hair removal" fees, has been able to accomplish. And, even though they were short staffed, the owner drove me home after I dropped off the car in the morning. The car was ready when they said it would be, and they refused to accept a tip for their stellar service. For the first time in years, I'm not ashamed of the inside of my car! I called a few days ago to book an appointment. They said they were really busy and to bring it in on Thursday (today). He was about to hang up and I said "don't you want my name? I want to book an appointment." He took my name and number and I assumed everything was fine. I showed up today and they had no recollection of booking anything and said they were too busy today and to come back Saturday - even though he still wasn't ready to write anything down. I'll find somewhere else, thanks. I see you can request a booking through their site but if they can't handle a booking over the phone or in person, they should let you know. read more

Ill go step by step. -I ordered a car through a toyota dealership and was waiting for it to get delivered -I told the salesman and the mechanics to NOT WASH VACUUM OR TAKE ANY OF THE FILM OFF THE CAR -Picked up my BRAND NEW 2013 car on June 9th 2012 -Car had not been washed and ALL the film was still on the car from factory, (seat plastic, HOOD FILM, roof film, trunk film, etc.etc.) -Called and booked an appointment @ Kingsway Auto Detail (east 5th ave in Vancouver) for June 18th (9 days after getting the car) -Took it in to them to get it Paint Pro, Rust Pro, Undercoat -Picked it up from them, and it was cool HERE is where everything went downhill -looked at the hood and there was a HUGEEEE gouge that ran the length of the hood from the front to back with a slight curve -Showed them, they said they will fix it -Took it back to them 8 days later (when they were free next) -Dropped it off on the 26th June 2012 @ 9:00am -They said it would take 1 hour, so "come back at 10:00am" -I came at 1:45pm on the same day, they hadnt even touched it yet -They said 10 minutes -I left and called them at 2:30pm and they said 1 more hour... 3:30pm -I went back to them and the scratch was still there -I said: me: the scratch is still there them: yea man its too deep me: ...uhhh yea, cause u did it them: no we didnt, that wasnt us me: yes you did, it wasnt like this when i picked the car up them: it must have been the brush when they have it at the dealership (this was bull because no one washed my car) me: i dont think so, it looks like someone rubbed it with a rag with a rock caught in it them: no man, it musve been at the dealership as a display model (bull again because my car wasnt a display model, there was only 5 on the shipment and i reserved mine Mar. 31st 2012) (DOUBLE BULL because no one took the film off my car until i took it home) -then i left and went home -these guys are fu(k|ng the worst, they wrecked my brand new car and not only ADMITTED it initially when i showed them the scratch, but then denied it one they figured out they couldnt get the scratch out. They did NOT fix it after they scratched my BRAND NEW car I took my car to them to get something done... it came out scratched... they WILL not fix it... PERIOD I would be VERY careful when dealing with these guys, they have VERY VERY little work ethics and did not show any remorse wrecking my brand new car. Yes, the staff was friendly but...do not take your car here unless you want it damaged. I took mine in for a complete detail and they not only broke my window switches and cracked a rear taillight, but also polished the hood so hard that it broke off both of the washer nozzles. Not to mention the engine clean sprays some oily substance all over which makes it "look" clean without really cleaning it. Not recommended! read more

Kingsway Detailing did an excellent job detailing my 2013 VW Tiguan. My car was parked on the street and inadvertently sprayed with tiny flecks of grey paint when a nearby building was painted. My car is white! I took my vehicle to Kingsway and I can't believe how fabulous it now looks--as good as the day I bought it!! They removed all the grey paint flecks, literally hundreds of them, cut & polished, and did a new paint seal. As a bonus they even buffed out door dings -- all in 24 hours and at the price quoted.
