Over the last five months it became clear that that trust has been misplaced. I bring my cars and family's cars in for repair very often. Any squeak gets repaired in short order. During this time I have seen no other mechanic. Back in March 2017 my front left tire fell off while driving only 25 mph - no accident, nothing. I read the owner and mechanics the riot act as I am not a mechanic and would not be able to self inspect ball joints or tie rods and place my safety in the hands of mechanics that I thought were competent. Repairs were made and concerns well communicated with all involved. Three months later, ANOTHER wheel falls off! Again, no accident, nothing. Simply driving down a quiet residential street out east. Not even a pot hole involved. I placed my last call to the Shell station to let them know that I would never again place my family's safety in their hands. And given their lack of thorough inspection, care and quality of work, neither should you.

THEN I got another oil change there and 3000 miles later my low oil light came on. Turns out my normal mechanic said 3 out of 4 screws were hand tightened and it's been leaking a long time. He said it's been being absorbed by the fabric under my car but now it's so saturated it's all stated to completely leak. He said that there's really no other explanation for this other than someone was being slimy and trying to get me back in for service. Could have really ruined my car. Never going back.
