THEN I got another oil change there and 3000 miles later my low oil light came on. Turns out my normal mechanic said 3 out of 4 screws were hand tightened and it's been leaking a long time. He said it's been being absorbed by the fabric under my car but now it's so saturated it's all stated to completely leak. He said that there's really no other explanation for this other than someone was being slimy and trying to get me back in for service. Could have really ruined my car. Never going back. Avoid at all costs.

There is also a garage on the premises. One day my tire was going flat, and although I had to wait a long time, they put air in it for me. They really should have plugged the tire. I ended up getting a flat the following day. They have a small convenience store where they sell sodas, water, gum, candy and cigarettes. Prices are high but you pay for the convenience factor. Easy to notice from the road. Good lighting. They close early.

The guy is actively trying to rip me off. I'm waiting for cops now…read more I admit, it was my fault for not paying attention (and for paying cash). He acted like he pumped gas, then took my money... and this is where I should have paid closer attention because he charged me more than my car would have normally taken. I paid him and he waved me to get out quickly in a very nasty fashion. I didn't realize until I had pulled out that he never pumped a drop of gas. I came back not 3 minutes later (soon as I realized) and he actually accused me of going across the street to another gas station and emptying my tank. I'm waiting on the cops to come to resolve the situation now. What a stupid fiasco!! I offered to show him my empty tank and he just called me a liar. He is not interested in trying to resolve it nicely. Apparently he thinks in less than five minutes I siphoned a full tank of gas out of my car! LOL EDIT: police came and the officer was amazing. He listened to my story and saw I was a reasonable person and then attempted to talk to the attendant. He was not so reasonable. He insisted he gave me gas. I stayed calm and didn't talk to anyone but the officer who could see I had almost no gas in my car. It didn't seem like anything was going to happen in my favor and the officer told me small claims might be my only choice. He tried reasoning with the attendant again and looked at the receipt he printed out to prove I had gotten gas... it actually proved I didn't get gas. The cop was able to put it all together based on the time I called the police and the time he was dispatched and then the time the receipt said the transaction happened... which would have been BEFORE I was even there. He got the attendant to agree to give me my gas, and even to give me a refund because what my tank took was less than what he had charged me (my car only has a 12 gallon tank). The cop watched the gauge go up from almost empty and assured the guy I wasn't scamming him... that my tank really was almost empty and I never got gas. Me and the cop agreed it was probably just a bad mistake. The gas station attendant didn't agree and wasn't happy about giving me gas or a refund. He never once apologized. It worked out, but only after getting the police involved. What a shame. Im not from this area so likely wouldn't be back anyway, but I'll be sure NOT to ever go back even if I'm in the area for work in the future. I do want to say, the officer was AWESOME. He was so kind and helpful. Props to a professional and friendly policeman.

He was at another pump so I hopped out of my car and stopped the pump myself, he saw me stop it and I told him that I asked for premium gas not regular. His response was "gas is gas" and restarted pumping the rest of my gas, but continued putting 87 in. I'm not one to get mad at people for messing up their job, but I recently got my fuel pump replaced in my car due to the same issue at another gas station. Overall I wouldn't have cared much if he had owned up and apologized for it, but the fact that he continued putting regular in even after I stopped and reminded him and told me that "gas is gas" makes me never want to come back to this place. They act like they are doing you a favor by pumping your gas. The prices are usually higher than the gas station across the way, but that is not my major gripe. I just deplore the poor customer service. The location is convenient and easy to spot from the road. Usually pretty empty, but there is always a wait for the attendants to pump your gas. This place has been closed more than it has been open over the past five years. Sometimes they only have their garage open and no gas available for upwards of six months at a time. I have no experience with their garage, nor would I. Just go across the street or down the road for better service.

I was extremely skeptical that premium was put in. I asked him if he was sure it was premium and he assured me it was. Went and grabbed the receipt in case it wasnt premium and my car started having issues. When i checked the receipt, it was regular as i had suspected. Also, they never refunded the difference from the amount they fill to what I gave them. This place is a horror show. Wont be going back there anytime soon.

ZERO STARS - UPDATE BELOW: TWO STARS…read more The idiot attendant filled my Honda Accord with diesel gas. "But that's impossible," you might be thinking, "because the diesel nozzle won't physically fit in a regular gas tank". The attendant used a flashlight into the hole and said "it won't fit" while holding the pump nozzle over the hole and filling it. We didn't realize why he said that until a block later when my car died. It cost me over $1,000 to tow my car, pump my tank, and replace my fuel pump. We will see if Planet Gas pays for this damage and trains or fires the attendant UPDATE: The good news is they paid for my car repair right away without any argument or hassle. They made it right.
