I purchased a car from a family friend who raves about the excellent service they have had for 11 plus years at Integrity Mobil, this car was maintained by this Service station for all its life except a few trips to the Acura dealer. This is all relevant because I know a lot about cars and after carefully reviewing all the service receipts I have found many services I am not happy with. This car had two tires and brakes replaced every two years (24,000 miles) which is borderline normal. I am mostly dissatisfied with the intervals that were chosen when changing fluids like transmission fluid. There is no record of it ever being changed despite the fact it should've been changed twice during the time it was maintained there. The previous owner was somebody who believed in timely maintenance and repeatedly told me about the amount of trust she placed in her mechanic to maintain her car and do what was best. I have had to replace multiple parts that were replaced less than one year before, leading me to assume this garage uses subpar parts. I am mostly bothered by fact that 1 year ago the vehicle had $1,300 worth of work done including timing belt, water pump, coolant change, crankshaft seal and a few other things. This service was needed because the vehicle was 10 years old with 103,000 miles and is called for at that time by the owners manual. However 9 months after the service was completed (6,000 miles) the car leaked a noticeable amount of oil. I noticed this escoecially during an oil change and had my own mechanic investigate. He informed me that the crankshaft seal was leaking. He was surprised that an Acura with only about 110,000 miles had a bad crankshaft seal, he was flabbergasted when I told him the seal was replaced nearly 6,000 miles before. I am disappointed that a mechanic would do such a poor job replacing a part and then not attempt to fix it. The car had gone for two oil changes between the time the seal was replaced and when I purchased the vehicle. The mechanics at Integrity Mobil had ample time to notice the leak, but still failed to remedy it or disclose it to the owner. After being a loyal customer for 11 years the Mechanics at Integrity Mobil chose to be dishonest. They chose not to do the right thing and sent the customer on her merry way with a car that leaked oil because of their lackluster worksmanship. read more
