On the day of an early AM (7:00) pre-scheduled…read more(several weeks) appointment, Dave arrives--but instead of doing the work, unexpectedly, and before I could even get to the door, leaves a note at the door simply stating "Had knee surgery, roof too much for me, sorry." No other explanation, no courtesy of conversation. I am casting no personal aspersions--but this was totally unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. He left a text with the same message. I tried to call and to text him back immediately--no answer and no response. If he indeed had knee surgery and there are "a lot of jobs I can't do anymore" (per his note)--I should have been told that in advance, certainly not on the the day and time of the appointment! At no time in making the appointment--or before the date--did Dave give me this information, or inquire about the pitch of the roof. (And aren't Chimney cleaners supposed to be able to do roofs by definition??!!). VERY disappointed to say the least. I would NOT recommend Dave's Chimney & Mason Service.

They started on a Monday and were done by Thursday end of day. They are the hardest workers Ive ever seen. They worked from 9am until, literally, the last cast of sunlight. I'm kind of a pain in azz and Juan handled me and my random text messages/questions quickly. His cost estimate was on point as well. They cleaned up after themselves and were great all around. I have them booked to come back and do the patio and another fence along the driveway. I'll post a follow up then. all in all they are easy to deal with, efficient, fairly priced, honest, hard working, solid quality, clean, and they do it all - walls, fence, landscaping etc... nice works guys ty!
