Kingpin, a brand new, super-modern, entertainment venue, is - for now - the pinnacle of casual gaming. With its wide range of arcade games, a fresh super-modern aesthetic and a great range of entertainment activities, such as bowling, a cafe, and an escape room, Kingpin is sure to attract a mass of people wanting to have a great casual time.
Having explored the premises, this freshly opened Kingpin in Canberra Centre is a breath of fresh air. Gone is the stereotypical grungy look and feel of the arcade, where even the most enthusiastic fans of arcades would turn away from them, and welcomed is the bright, enthusiastic, and colourful design that brings back the old sense of lustre, excitement and adrenaline. Kingpin has seamlessly and meticulously designed this entire venue to have flow, welcoming you from one part of its offerings while ushering you through to its other attractions. It politely urges you to try many of their offerings, and it's subliminally effective. The smell of the cafe, the flashing lights and bustling sounds, and the open plan setup lets you absorb the entirety of its design and really does convince you that spending money will be Heckin' Good.
Without a doubt, Kingpin has set the new standard in arcade entertainment. From its arcade, which includes a VR experience using HTC Vive equipment, through to its bowling, escape rooms and cafe, there is enough entertainment and sustenance to rob you of hours from your day. And I'm definitely okay with that. read more
