This review is long overdue. When my husband and I were given orders to MCAS Cherry Point, we were completely unfamiliar with the area and totally unaware of how to purchase a home. We were blessed enough to come in contact with Debbie King for many reasons. First, she contacted us right away when we reached out to her. As opposed to many realtors who don't contact you at all, contact you only in hopes of scoring a sale, or contact you weeks after you need them to, Debbie reached out to us immediately. She understood that we were limited in our schedule to come down to NC and view homes, so she exposed us to her portal which allowed us to search for and find homes that actually fit our needs. She also worked with us to arrange for viewings of a list (and I mean 14 homes) of homes that we'd come up with in a single day. She also picked us up at our hotel in her personal vehicle for the tour and her only guidance was to rate each home individually on a scale of 1 to 5. She was complete objective, unbelievably professional, and undoubtedly qualified from start to finish. She was honest when we asked her questions about various areas and she only offered guidance when we solicited it. At the end of the day, she took us back to her office and asked us to individually list our top three homes. When my husband and I came up with our lists, we shared a common home and this is the one we made an offer on. The offer process can be stressful, but Debbie provided us with every single bit of information we wanted from HOA rules to school ratings. She also gave us realistic and clear guidance on the closing process and recommended excellent inspectors and other professionals to help us through it.
