The people were very friendly. We were so excited when we came in. The service however felt rushed and uncared for.. & they weren't busy. When my pedicure was done & it was time for my manicure, the man had me hurry up & sit in a seat that a woman's phone and wine were still at. And it hadn't been cleaned off. Also, my daughter got a basic pedicure & I paid for the deluxe, she got more of a massage than I did. The prices were also a little strange to me. $45 for a pedicure then an extra $20(?) or so for the gel. After our pedicures/manicures, my daughter got her eyebrows waxed and the lady was rushing so quickly that she dropped a glob of wax in her hair. I got the wax for free. Save your money...I had a complete manicure done on 5/6 just to have half of them fall off within 10 days. i returned on 5/15 t have 1 (left index) repaired at no charge. But, the next 2 days, 4 more fell off (1 getting ready to fall) and they refuse to correct it without more money. Really?? I have had my nails done every month for over 10 years, and this has never happened. There are many nail salons, choose one of them. This place isn't worth the money. Both times I visited this place, I had an appointment but, still had to wait 15-20 minutes before they even started. The nails that have stayed on, are wavy in appearance. Just went to get my eyebrows waxed, was asked to wait in the room after someone had just walked out from getting a wax, they didn't change any of the paper sheets on the bed nor the nasty towels. All the supplies they used were disgusting and not sanitized. The wax was extremely hot, hotter than any wax I've ever gotten. She left wax all over my face when I left. She never greeted me or anything either, she just said "okay now pay me". My eyebrows looked better before I got them waxed, not to mention she didn't even get all the hairs, she's lucky I even paid AND LEFT A TIP. I will not be back. I received a mani/pedi service in June 2022. Pedi was lovely. Mani was fine but the lady was brisk and argued with me over the fact that I didn't want the dip to be translucent. I insisted on a third coat and she obliged, however, at an additional cost. I hadn't experienced that before but every business is free to make their own stipulations. My biggest problem is the tech nicked me twice, which did draw blood, then proceeded to use the nail solution, with the original brush, right over my open wound. Disgusting, unsanitary, and I'm sure not up to code. I hope whatever is in the solution is potent enough to kill any blood borne disease. And I paid $150 (mani/pedi/gel toes/dip fingers, including tip). I was referred to a different salon in town and had a much better experience. read more

The men here are very good. The women are rude as hell. I can't wear nail polish for nursing school, but got them done over winter break because I had a month off. When I went to get the gel taken off the lady ROLLED HER EYES at me and then handed me off to someone else so she could go snag a lady that was waiting on a pedicure. My daughter and I made our first and last trip to this place! All they wanted was to get as much money out of us as possible! My daughter had her tips removed and got a gel manicure. The guy was very rough. I got a gel manicure and a $30 pedicure. They kept insisting that I get the more expensive pedicure but I stood my ground and stayed with my choice. My bill was $135. The prices are not what they seem!! They used to be so cheap and good at what they do, now it's not the same. I got the deluxe pedicure which said it was $35 they said nothing else about the price. I went in the other day to get a fill on already existing acrylic nails, they look bulky and streaky. The nail polish is still overflowed onto my skin. They charged me 45 for a FILL???? I was in the salon yesterday to get a pedicure and manicure. While getting my toe nails trimmed, the tech cut me. I know accidents happen but when i mentioned it, he said nothing. After leaving i noticed that my manicure was incredibly uneven on some fingers, and the top coat was missing from two of my fingers. I will not return. read more

I had never gone to a nail salon in Cape. After debating on whether to go to Pro Nails or King Nails, I ended up going to King Nails. Took my mother who has Alzheimer's & can no longer cut her toe nails nor will she let me do it. They were good with her which was the most important thing for me. The young lady who is thinner, more stylish & speaks the best English did her pedicure. My pedicure wasn't the best I've ever had as the lady who worked on me didn't cut some of my nails short enough and cut my skin when clipping the cuticle on one of my large toes. They are NOT sanitary or hygienic! The guy that did my nails filed my nails so hard that he cut two of fingers, one bled non-stop (see pic). He never discarded the nail file for a new one. He then used some blue liquid to seal it without my permission which burned intensely. As I yelped in pain because my finger felt on fire and swelled up, they all laughed loudly for a few minutes. He put the blue bottle that had touched my bloody fingertip back in his drawer. The polish was all that remained, and he applied that unevenly and with no care. When I went to pay, he charged me $33 for the fill-in and gel polish, but when I asked him to knock off something for cutting me, he accused me of already having a cut finger. When I yelled so the rest of the patrons could hear me "You cut my fingers and made me bleed!" he took off $3. DO NOT EVER GO THERE! They will not use a new nail file, so you never know if someone's blood is on that file. He also never washed his hands, so you never know who's bloody finger your technician or his tools touched just before yours. The next morning, my fingertip is still burning and hurts badly. I was looking for a mani pedi place since I had just relocated from another state. I discovered King Nails and thought I had finally found the place! I first checked out the place on a Saturday and they were super busy so I decided to come back the next day. They are open a few Sundays, not all. King Nails has a lot of Spa chairs for pedicures and plenty of tables for hand treatments. I also saw a good amount of staff. When I returned the next day, I had a technician who did not seem quite interested in me or my service, particularly when I did not upgrade. They were super slow but still insisted on doing my treatment one at a time instead of someone working on my hands and someone working on my feet. I would say the end results was unremarkable and the total service was $40.00, including a buff on my nails. I might give them another try on a different day. I did notice a few people come in and ask for a particular person and leave when the person wasn't working so it may be a case where you have to request a particular person in order to get good service. I will definitely update this review if I have a better experience on a return visit. read more
