Not going to lie, this is the best Mound I've ever traversed!
Richmond Park is incredibly scenic, even in the off season. I visited in December and, as the trees had dropped their leaves, there were fantastic views of the Thames Valley and St. Paul's Cathedral. Apparently, this is location where King Henry VIII saw the signal from the Tower of London that his second wife, Anne Boleyn, had been beheaded in 1536.
There is a beautiful public telescope and wonderful informational signage. I do highly recommend checking it out if you are in Richmond Park. read more
