I was very satisfied with my trip to 425 Market Place Antiques…read more The location is slightly off the beaten path (behind a restaurant on Holcomb Bridge Road) but totally worth the effort to find. The store has 2 floors and an eclectic array of 1920's-1990's vintage. I was surprised at the amount of massive, complete china sets and complete porcelain figure sets. I found a particular piece I've NEVER seen before and they had the ENTIRE set. The prices were below average for the area and they had a major sale going on while I was there, which was awesome! Both the owner and the cashier were beyond helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I really enjoyed my time in this store and they were so appreciative for my business. I will absolutely come again and really recommend this fun little place.

It is the most pleasant atmosphere of any antique shop in town. The dealers here take great pride in creating vignettes inspired by current magazines as well as home decorating shows. You will find a variety of unique antique and vintage treasures, from furniture to garden accessories, kitchenware, glassware, collectibles, period clothing, and jewelry. Stock changes daily, so you never know what you will find! Be sure to go upstairs to the "Bargain Loft," where you will find collectibles priced $9.99 or less and furniture for $49.99 or less!

Roswell Antiques and Interiors - Lots of brightly lit "rooms"

If you're looking for a dirty, hoarderesque establishment with things stacked three feet deep and dim lighting, you're at the wrong place. That being said, I don't want this 3 star review to discourage anyone! I just want to inform you about this place, so you can know if it what you're looking for. It didn't have the things I was looking for, but that doesn't mean it won't have what you're looking for. I came in, not looking for anything in particular, really. Just browsing and such, maybe looking for some records or books from 1905. It's a furniture and fine china mart. As to the "antique aspect"... I'd say maybe about 40% of the items there were what I'd consider antique. As in, pre-80s, maybe even mid-70s. But there were some beautiful pieces. Elaborate crystal chandeliers, heavy oaken tables, chess sets crafted from stone and marble, stunning Japanese-style room dividers with raised images and beautiful imagery. I was sort of afraid to touch anything because it was so brightly lit and so many things looked delicate. My idea of a perfect antique market is a mix of said beautiful furniture and other 1950s things. Dresses, photographs, typewriter in a bold case. This place was strictly fine furniture, with a smattering of jewelry and other random pieces (abacus, anyone), and was far too tasteful for my tastes. I'm a grungy, dig-through-this-room-and-find-treasures kind of person, not delicate stemware and principled manors. So if you've got cash to spare and a discerning eye for beautiful things, I'm sure you'd enjoy this place far more than I did.

Simple Finds is a large consignment shop that sits at the corner of Peachtree Boulevard and…read moreChamblee Dunwoody. It sits in a small plaza where it acts as the anchor store. Like most consignment stores, Simple Finds is overwhelming with the amount of inventory they have. It is stacked from entry to exit, from wall to wall and floor to ceiling! They have all the varieties of items you would expect at a consignment store from jewelry, art, furniture, tchotchkes, statues, records, lighting and much more. We like to wander around consignment shops and this area of Chamblee Dunwoody, they are plentiful. So, when we make our trip over this way Simple Finds is always on the list to swing by. We are usually after unique furniture items, and on their good days, Simple Finds has a decent selection from small tables to large cabinets, etc...Outside of the furniture, there is not a lot of items that are eye catching for us here. Service is hit and miss here, never terrible, but also not what I would describe as "friendly" either. Additionally, pricing here is a bit inflated. I get the whole "one persons trash is another persons treasure", but come on... Overall, Simple Finds is a random weekend stop for us on occasion. I will say that visiting here is like visiting a massive neighborhood yard sale, so you get lucky from time to time, but for the most part...it is just a place to browse for us.
