My kids are older now, but we used to play here often pre-renovation. They did a beautiful job with the renovation. I come here twice a week to take a Nia dance class through the Park District of Oak Park. The space is perfect for the class. Always clean, well-ventilated, the water fountain works, all of the equipment is in good working order, and the teacher, Andrea, is the best!! Masks are required to come inside, and there is a Park District attendant at the door of the building to ensure that the mask requirement is complied with, which I really appreciate. Stevenson Park is a great place to take a class and a super spot to run around with the kids a bit! There is some free street parking along Lake, but make sure you follow the signs. I think only one side of the road (the south side) is free. I saw someone getting a ticket for parking on the north side of the road yesterday.

Cons: Absolutely not enough parking for the venue & amount of spectators if you're coming here for a weekend tourney. It's located in an Industrial Park with most of the surrounding businesses having "No parking" or "Be Towed" threatening placards up. Pricing was outrageous: $10 for the day or $20 for the weekend. No discount for the weekend & with a 3 game guarantee you're paying close to $7 a game. If you're going to charge outrageous prices, at least get some officials who know the rules and use their whistle. Lots of coaches & kids getting upset due to the lack of officiating. It was more like street ball, with kids getting mugged. As for seating, unless you're on the first Court as you walk in, most courts have very little seating. They provide one, two at best, small metal bleacher(s) which are very close to the sidelines. In addition, some courts only have one bleacher and no other area to watch the games as the backs of the bleachers facing other courts don't really allow sideline spectating. So people are forced to pack into the corners of the baseline. Bathrooms are small and by the end of the day they were dirty, and had no soap or paper towels to wash your hands with. They also had a small concession serving pizza and drinks but very limited in their offerings. All in all, hoping our team won't be back at this location. Definitely not a comfortable place to spend a weekend watching basketball.

The facility is clean, bright, has the necessary equipment, and filled with very friendly people. I think it was a mixture of people from the Park district, the Fire Department, students from a nearby medical and professional school, and maybe even Albertsons employees working. It was a well greased machine. I did not wait in any line at any time, I just moved from station to station. If I had been a resident of Lombard they were giving a one day pass to try out the facility. In the waiting area, after the vaccine had been administered, there were Park District employees there to sanitize the chair you had just vacated. Hand sanitizer was every where you looked. I could not be more pleased that I was able to snag an appointment at this clinic.

If they are, you can rest assured that you will stand zero chance of winning. This place is as corrupt as they come. When matched up against a team sponsored by Supreme Courts, be prepared to have your team not only outplay their opponent, but possibly referees who need to protect their future game assignments as well as the scorekeepers who deliberately tally personal fouls incorrectly by targeting your better players in an attempt to significantly limit their minutes. This place is a catalyst for everything that's wrong with today's youth sports culture. Don't waste your players' (and their families') time and money. There are many other quality facilities that can host your team that foster a fair and competitive environment. LET THE PLAYERS DECIDE THE OUTCOME OF GAMES! TREAT THE GAME WITH THE RESPECT IT DESERVES!
