My family and I do not speak much German, but the staff has been extremely accommodating, to the point where they have offered to translate documents for us to make things easier.
We have a primary person of contact for his group in the kita who maintains a notebook with daily notes communicating his nap length, how he ate, and any observations that might be of importance.
I love that this kita focuses on outdoor play/nature. During better weather, they have gone on a few outings to places like Hagenbeck Tierpark.
The campus is quite big with each group having a play area/garden and several rooms such as a common area, role-play room where the children can play make-believe with items like toy stoves, etc., nap room, and gymnastics area with items like padded mats and hula hoops.
They serve a healthy lunch menu. On Mondays, they have a document in the main area that communicates what the meals will be that week. It also includes any allergenic information that might be necessary to note.
Overall, I definitely recommend this kita.
