The owner took no accountability for the issues and tried to gaslight. The driver especially Jeff Jr were exceptional, and tried what they could to get us there and home. Oh and let's not forget the owner claimed he had a mechanic a hour away from Albuquerque and told us to keep going so we could meet them just to turn around and tell us the bus was German and they don't shave anyone to work on it. The tour listed as 45 minutes started a few minutes late and we were done 7 minutes before we were supposed to be. T was closer to a half hour tour. We paid $1,807.14 total. I have text confirmations with correct timing & pickup locations. I also confirmed with them where dinner drop of was etc. I also asked Kimberly, the manager, if we could see pictures of our bus. She replied, "It's one of the 20 person buses listed." I thought this was weird but I knew they were probably in their busy season so i just referred to their website with their listed inventory. On Saturday, April 5th (Blanchard's prom day), the bus was suppose to pick them up at The Springs in Blanchard at 4:00. At 4:10, I'm calling wondering where they are. The driver went to the wrong venue in Edmond. All the kids & parents had to scramble & drive them all to Norman for pictures. The bus driver took 1 1/2 hours to get to Norman from Edmond when he finally arrived then they arrived late to their dinner reservations. When the bus arrived in Norman, I almost fell over in shock. The pictures of their inventory listed on their website was NOT what we got. (Pictures posted below). The bus was hot with a barely working A/C, the speakers barely had sound so the kids couldn't even hear the music. A parent had to meet them and give them a Bluetooth speaker so they could listen to music. There was an ice chest left on the bus with beer in it and spilled beer as well and there was spilled beer and one boy got it on his prom tux and had to take it off from smelling like beer. Kimberly, the manager, offered for us to use to bus until 10pm because of the mishaps but I told her that wouldn't work due to our prom starting at 7:30. I called Black Diamond Saturday night, Sunday and every day since. I've called, left messages, left voicemails and sent emails. I'm being ghosted because they don't want to refund me any money but I'm not backing down. As a business owner myself, you run your business off of good reputations & doing people right. I know businesses make mistakes as I have but you do what it right & you make it right. This is NOT the case.

The rooms look pretty old and the furniture looked like they bought it at a old ladies garage sale. The drawer set was broken and I could barely open the drawer. Also the room was sold as a non smoking room, but when we would walk in after our tour bus dropped us off it smelled of smoke. The pool area is really in bad shape. The pool looked an odd color and the Jacuzzi had dirt in it. The gym is a small room with a low end stair climber and a few pieces of gym equipment with no AC. On the sign outside it says breakfast The breakfast was two choices of cereal and a toaster with cheap bread. Also the person attending the breakfast did not have coffee ready, as we all wanted a cup before we left on our bus trip. On the positive note the room was cleaned everyday and we had fresh linens. I don't expect a first class room at a Super 8 and the price was fair, but your corporation needs to look at upgrading this location!

The famous Tulsa Cave House was built by Joseph Koberling Sr. and James Purzer during the 1920's…read more Originally this cave like building was designed as a restaurant with outdoor dining. This restaurant served as a front to a speakeasy at night (with possible activity involving mobsters, shady business, etc). A long time ago there were tunnels (that are long gone, as they had collapsed, according to our tour guide and owner of the home) that served as an entrance and exit point. The Fire Department actually came to check and see around the home and had found some of those collapsed tunnels and that it would lead to the back of the home and over the hill. Since then, this home was owned by a few other owners and then was left abandoned for many years until Linda Collier purchased this home in 1997 and eventually repaired and restored the home. She opened this home to the public in 2007 for tours (only $10 per person). According to Linda, the home was in such a disrepair that the realtor she was with refused to enter. But as soon as Linda stepped in, she knew she just had to purchase it. She was going to move in but said that a ghost/ apparition convinced her not to move in. So she used it as a place for her woodwork and a place to write (she still does not live in the home). During that time, locals would ring the doorbell and ask if they could take a peek inside, as they had always known about the cave house but had always wondered what laid inside. Eventually Linda decided to provide tours for locals and tourists. My husband and I came for a visit on a Thursday afternoon (we had contacted Linda earlier that day and said she would be able to give a tour at 2 pm. She was so sweet to let us come in earlier, as we had arrived a bit earlier). We sat in the living room and heard a few stories of the home and looked at the old photos that she had to share of previous owners of the home and of what this home looked like before. She also told us that her home was featured on HGTV's "Home Strange Home" show and also is in the book "Weird Oklahoma." Then she showed us around her home and explained what she had done to the walls or what she had added, etc. Upstairs, there is a fun slide that my husband went down twice (lol, he's such a kid at heart). Linda had said that she added that slide for her daughter (such a cool mom she is. I wish I had a slide in my bedroom when I was kid). It was very interesting to learn about the history that Tulsa had. Also earlier in the week, some locals at a dog event we had gone to with our little girl dog, had told us about the Tulsa Cave House (although I already had this place bookmarked before visiting Oklahoma) and that they had gone on a tour and that it was worth a visit. Our tour was about 50 minutes and thought it was at a good pace and a fun activity to do. If you are looking for something out of box and happen to be visiting Tulsa, you should consider checking out the Tulsa Cave House. It is recommended to make an appointment beforehand. Although you may get lucky to do a walk in, if Linda is home.
