Bar Filial is a cosy gastropub in the Vila Madalena district that also hosts a cachaçaria. The drink list has 1 full page of different cachaça from Minas Gerais state alone, another of cachaça from other states, and yet another dedicated to caiprinhas. I recommend the caprinha com frutas vermelhas! Good place for drinks, chatting with friends and nibbles, no need to go anywhere else in the area unless you want to go pubbing or you really need someplace with live music.

This spot seems like it was a tad off the beaten path and totally worth it. The service was excellent and the food was chefs kiss to the max. Everything the put in front of me was delicious and I just wanted more and more! The meat was tender, seasoned well, the smoky grilled flavor shined through on the meat and veggies, and the sides...gawd... There's seating outside and plenty inside. Not sure how we're gonna top tonight but I'm expecting we will tomorrow! Love it here and love this team!!!

Ge was the manager and was a great host. The beef is dry aged and seasoned perfectly. My brisket was not quite like Texas brisket, but it was great. The menu is very impressive and offers many sides and even desserts. The ambience was just like being back home. When in Sao Paulo and looking for an authentic barbecue experience, stop into Bark & Crust. I may even go back before I head back to Texas.

After a long day of business meetings, our group wanted to chill and enjoy a fun evening. We found the Lord Black on Yelp and ventured forth. I have had the pleasure of checking out many Irish pubs on my travels, but the Lord Black may be top 2-3. The moment you step in you feel transported to the Emerald Isle. It oozes pub vibes. A great selection of Irish beers on tap and a very solid line up of Irish pub food. The wait staff were very friendly and welcoming. They introduced us to some of the local regulars and we had a blast in part due to magic of Google Translate!
