Kim and her family are genuinely sweet and kind people! They are very kind and welcoming when it comes to people walking in appointments or not. They fit people in even taking two clients at a time. The people that regularly come in don't mind the wait even if they have an appointment because they know the quality of service they will receive from Kim and her family. I'd say from personal experience working there that I love it! They welcomed me in and have taught me a lot already with the amount of time I've been there. My nails were not the same length or shape when I was done. Super rough with my nails which actually left my nails sore for a couple days after getting them done. The atmosphere is very rushed and busy. It seems that some steps were missed that are not missed other places. I had to file my own nail because it was just not done. read more

I will never waste my money here again. Hard to find someone who could help you, most don't speak or understand any English. You sit in the chair and only get a smile every so often. I have always been asked in the past,if my nails were cut short enough, nothing. Only thing I was asked about was the color of polish. horrible experience, I asked for a $45 pedicure, the lady doing my pedicure skipped majority of the steps I had payed for, the water was cold when I went to leave my shoes and socks were completely soaked. while paying she proceeded to up the price to $65 dollars. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

Fabulous job, this is the second time I have been here and both times i get excellent and fast service. The dip nail color selection is the most I have seen in any nail salon. Customer service is key to a successful business. I came to the salon through recommendation. The atmosphere is rushed and unwelcoming. One employee had me siting in the spa chair for 30 minutes until my water got cold. Inactive employees ignored me and attended to other walk ins. We attend these salons primarily on service and skill. Unfortunately, Kim's salon carries poor service and mediocre talent for price well over its value. read more

I travel extensively and was recently visiting Bartlesville. While there I was referred to Kim's nails as they were the best available in the area. Unfortunately their best is nowhere near acceptable compared to other locations at I have been or receive service from. You are better off traveling a couple hours to get your nails done compared to what the service is offered at this location. read more

I came here to get a mani while i was in town for work. the main thing i noticed at first is they didn't do all the typical things that most nail salons usualy do in a manicure like use those little clipper/scissor things to trim the extra skin around my nails... they just completely didn't do that step. then when i walked out i was pretty satisfied with how my nails looked, but then i noticed a couple days later that the nail polish was like splitting... not chipped because i bumped into something but it was like the nail polish they used was old or something... i dont knwo what really causes that but i had never seen that happen before. pretty much... i just wasn't impressed. read more

Updated review: I have been to Kim's many times and I firmly believe that it is the best nail salon in Bartlesville, both in terms of quality and price for that quality. The only reason I take them down a star is that the waits can sometimes be long because everybody knows that this is the best salon in Bartlesville. Also, they get a lot of regulars, a good sign, so it can be sort of intimidating going in because everyone but you knows the owners. If I wasn't in school out of state I would make this place my regular nail salon! read more

Except for one experience where I showed up during advertised open hours and nobody was there (it was about 30 minutes after they were supposed to have opened on a snowy morning - maybe weather issues?), I was pleased with my mani/pedi here. They were closing up shop as my manicure was finished but they weren't rushing me at all, which was nice. read more

MY RATING IS ZERO- Dear Kim, two weeks ago I came to your salon for the first time. Your salon is beautiful, my nails were lovely and your nail tech was darling BUT the towel under my hands had been previously used with nail clippings still on it that she, not so quickly, brushed off. Also the previously used nail utensils were still sitting there which she picked up and started using on me. I thought I would try again today to see if I'd have a repeat experience and with plans to talk with the manager/owner... Kim happened to be working at the station next to mine and when finished came to start mine. So I told her about my last visit, she didn't seem too concerned. I asked if the tools she was about to use had been sterilized. She said they were clean. Then she got up took the towel off the other station, shook it out and put it back down. A new customer came in and sat down to have her nails done on the used towel. Yep, don't think I'll go back. Trying to decide if I will report to health department. ZERO STARS read more

If I could rate them lower I would. My nail polish on my pedicure hadn't set after 3 hours! It was smudged and looked horrible and I had to pay someone to redo it because they were already closed. When I asked for a refund they yelled and threatened me. Worst customer service experience ever. Owner Kim DID admit to putting thinner(acetone) in the nail polish to thin it out so it would last longer. But would not do a refund or even apologize for using bad product! read more

This is a CUSTOMER SATISFACTION issue. Not once have I received any form of apology or regret for the trouble I incurred over the "product" issue. I was NEVER offered anything more than $8 flat for my trouble. An amount determined by the gentleman on the phone. Apparently, my time and frustration in having to have someone else Redo the service that I had already paid them to do means absolutely nothing. I am upset, and rightly so. It is perfectly reasonable to expect polish to dry after 3 hours. The fact that it didn't is the responsibility of the salon. It was a warm 80 degree day and I was wearing flip flops. After 3 hours, I looked down and thought I had smudged the polish on the side of my big toe. When I checked my polish, it rolled off to the touch. Clearly this was a product issue, bad product. I feel no responsibility to make sure the salon uses proper product. This is what I paid them for. Stating that they add acetone to the polish is merely a generalization as it IS sometimes used as a thinner to stretch polish, or keep it from thickening. Whatever the enhancement, something was clearly used that inhibited the drying process of the polish. I did take pictures and I did leave a note, with my name and my phone number stating that I would be in on Wed. and wanted a full refund. (In retrospect, I really didn't mean the $5 tip, as I would not want the money back for the young lady's time.) When I called the gentleman on the phone immediately became aggressive, refusing to listen to what I had to say or letting me speak. He spoke over every word I said. You could truly tell he could care less that this happened or that I had to go to the trouble of having it redone. He was quite irritated that I would even call since I had the problem resolved. I am sure that I did speak loudly in an effort to try to say what I wanted to say. I was completely frustrated in trying to have a two way conversation with this man. He flatly offered me $8, as he said that is all having polish done would cost. No apology, no offer to come in sometime and have a pedicure done to make up for it. Just $8. I REPEAT, the only offer I had was to come in and receive $8. He also hung up on me, twice. Before he hung up on me the second time, I did tell him that it was fine if he didn't give me a refund, but that I am on fb and would be happy to tell everyone of my experience at this salon. (I thought better of that and decided to place my opinion on a site such as this that is designated for such issues.) My daughter was so appalled in how this man spoke to me that she did go to the salon the next day because she does not believe anyone should speak to her mother like that. I did not in any way ask her to do this or send her in, as I would not wish to subject her to the rude behavior I encountered. But go she did. While she was there, they came up with a couple of excuses for the problem. First they said that I had put on a shoe that smudged the polish off. Then they said that they remembered that they had helped me put on a tennis shoe and that must have done it. (I ask you, what reasonable salon would do that?) Finally, when the worn out excuses didn't fly, the woman there did say that they used thinners in their polish, but not acetone. My daughter did say that she was going to have me fill out a complaint with the State Board of Cosmetology because of the "Product" issues. This is not a threat, just a right that anyone has regarding questionable practices, product or otherwise. I have no doubt she did not say this in a nice way, since at this time she was as frustrated as I was with their complete lack of concern or resolution. So there you have it. What a horrible ordeal and a terrible customer experience. I completely stand by my rating and my comments. The man I dealt with was rude and disrespectful. I do feel a refund is in order, even more so now. In the end, he has my money..........and I got a pedicure by a competent, professional salon.......and the polish is still on!!! read more
