Real estate isn't just a weekend hobby for her. It's her life. It all starts with a visit to your home. There, she'll asses the value of your place, suggest some inexpensive updates, and even offer some staging ideas. Depending on the state of your home (ours was looking pretty dated), your property could be ready for listing in as early as a week. Or in our case, as late as a month. As you might assume, it's a lot easier to sell a home when no one is living in it. Unfortunately, we didn't have that option, so Lorette had to work around our busy schedules. That meant hiding all of our personal belongings at a moment's notice (for those sudden showing requests), and actually making our bed every day, like civilised people. All the while, we were in the process of figuring out where we wanted to buy our next home. That meant having Lorette arrange for showings of multiple properties in a lot of different areas, including Lakewood, Downey, Cypress, Artesia and various areas of Long Beach (which is not a small town). But she was also never pushy. She ultimately left it up to us to make the decision with the information she provided. We trusted her expertise and it absolutely paid off, literally. We got a deal on the property that we are very happy with. She offered great advice on everything from prices, timing, and even when to potentially walk away. Liz has a team of people that really seem to communicate as a team, not just a group of individuals working under the same company name. In passing conversations Liz talked about how she and her team work together, and it does seem like they get to share in each others expertise and experiences to develop a good understanding of the market. Even with her busy schedule it never really impacted the scheduling of events at our home. She always still met us at the property for events like home inspections, walk throughs, and giving us the keys to the property. She always provided great communication and was very responsive whether it was through e-mail, calls or texts to help answer questions. I can be "particular" (picky) about some things and whenever I brought up a question or concern, no matter how small, she never dismissed it or tried to excuse it as something I didn't need to worry about. She took my concerns seriously and got them addressed.
