He is very through in describing your test/ lab results as well as explaining different treatment paths and why he thinks one path is the best. Recently I was out in a new medication and when I started having negative side effects I was able to message Dr Maxwell through their patient portal and he messaged me back the same day and had a new prescription ready for me soon after that. I can't recommend Dr Maxwell high enough!!!

It is the responsibility of the health care provider to educate, coach, and encourage the patient. If the medical provider is unknowledgeable and incompetent at weight loss, the have the obligation to REFER to other healthcare providers who CAN help. My mother received no or treatment plan for her weight loss challenges with Dr. Levine; instead, Dr. Levine shamed her and, apparently, Dr. Levine's brilliant intervention was to tell my mom to "just lose weight". This is abusive behavior by a medical provider. His nurse called and put him on the phone with me and this guy become so defensive and rude and all but called me a lier even tho I was quite polite w him. When I sent him a screenshot he did not call me back and apologize as he said he would. I got a half-assed apology a few days later in an email saying it was not seen on his end. BUT he wrote me up on my Medical records (IN ALL CAPS) for all to see as if I was somehow in the wrong for questioning why it was never discussed as a health issue, obviously to cover his own ass. His notes on my Records are very unprofessional and obviously written in anger which says alot. THESE NOTES NEED TO BE REMOVED.
