I filled out the application online for a VA mortgage. When my application was complete, I received…read morea message saying I would be notified in 24-48 hours. That was 15 days ago. I called the number listed on their website and attempted to reach the "receptionist" who is obviously receiving things other than calls. Never did get ANYONE!!!! I guess it's safe to assume, customer service is not a priority to Cascade.

We have gone through two refinances with this company in the past. The agent we worked with was the…read moresame both times and everything worked out great. We were extremely happy and I would have recommended them in a heartbeat. We were contacted by Cascade a third time to refinance by a different agent and thought we were in the process when we were told the following "we need to have the FHA case # pulled by last Friday. We have not option to help to you refi any longer. took to long to get the info needed. Sorry" That's it. End of conversation. Now, I don't know about you but I don't write like that in a professional capacity. I don't write like that personally either because I can both read and write in English. I understood that a rate change of some sort was going to happen by a certain date but at no time were we told that our window of opportunity was closing completely then. The carriage didn't turn into a pumpkin after whatever deadline he expected us to meet. Refinancing is still happening for someone, right? So I don't know why he didn't present any options. Perhaps he didn't know the word for it and didn't want to look silly trying to pantomime. I was tempted to contact Cascade to find a different agent based on our good experiences in the past but that was just amateurish. My advice to Cascade, hire responsible adults as your agents. You did at one point so I know you know how. My advice to readers, find a different company. Your business will actually be valuable to someone, just not these guys anymore.
