Quite a variety of snacks, candy, and even Krispy Kreme donuts! The soft drink selection isn't large but they have the basics, including tea drinks. They even have flavored syrups to add. The cups don't get very large, stopping at 44 ounce. The coffee tastes great and is always fresh with plenty of add-ons including several types of creamer and artificial sweetener. The staff is always super-friendly, and SMART! They recognize you and will talk to you like a person, not just a customer. There's also a Redbox vending machine out front for your Blu-ray/DVD fix. If you compare this store to some of the grander convenience stores in big cities, you MIGHT be a little disappointed (but just a little). However, for a small town like Raton, you just can't get any better.

We needed gas and our child NEEDED that bathroom. It was well kept too! With hot water ... which is something I like when I wash my hands with soap. The door said to "pull hard." So my child kept pulling and pulling and then he said in side "we're closed." My kiddo was disappointed but just walked away. A few seconds later we heard the door open and say, "do they just need the bathroom?" So, when we got in he let us all use the bathroom and chatted with us while we waited for each other. But we found all sorts of treasures here, from souvenirs, native american ware, antiques, and art from a variety of local artists. They were also so friendly and we chatted about the variety of goods in the store, including some art, which was very unexpected. I am a dot mandala artist. She asked what that was so I showed her some photos and she said that my art could be a good fit in this shop as well. That would be so fun! One of the things I got was a shot glass from my friend and I brought it home to apply my art to. I look forward to connecting more and returning at some point soon.
