I agree that this place is a little more expensive than other exotic restaurants. They aim at more upscale crowd. The decor inside is dark and auspicious. The terrace is more rustic and industrial. The menu looked interesting with typical Thai dishes. I ordered nems? Turns out to be spring rolls, deep fried. They were very hot and very crunchy served with a golden dipping sauce. Unfortunately neither the sauce nor the rolls had much flavour. They owner of this fine establishment was present and served the tables. He looked after everyone on the terrace quite efficiently. My main was shrimp on crunchy noodles. I was disappointed that the sauce used was a sweet and quite sour sauce. I was looking for more of a savoury palate. The crunchy noodles were folded under the shrimp in a very compact way which made them harder than what I am used to. They did put plenty of shrimp and some veggies. This upscale resto is away from the main road, hidden in a residential neighbourhood with limited parking. Come by foot, sit outside and speak to the waiter before you order so you can get what you want.

It bustled on a recent Friday evening, packed with people - groups and some couples on dates. You WILL need a reservation on weekends. We only got in at 21h30, and that was with a reservation! Food was quite good, and I was delighted by the quality-to-price ratio. Nice to find good Asian cuisine, served nicely and thoughtfully, in a city/region sorely lacking in ethnic food. Chatted with the young, very pleasant owner for a bit, his family emigrated from Vietnam years ago.
