As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a very nice young lady. My visit is to see Sienna for my 4 week follow-up for the micro blading Sienna did for me. Then she came to the waiting room and said she'd come get me in just a minute. Even a little early I was taken back. I love my new brows, perfect! She was very attentive, patient and detailed. I could not be happier, as a more mature woman with thinning brows. You would never know! Caution! - Very Disappointing Just received a bill from an appointment that was in December of 2023. I called to question it and was told they were just catching up. They said it was out of network. Shouldn't they have known that when I made the appointment and before I had the procedure done? Plus I asked when I checked out if I had any amount due and was told no. I had a horrible experience multiple times at this office. The only experience I enjoyed was Dr.Ross she was pretty nice. The staff, horrible. Her assistant had such a terrible attitude, I did not appreciate. I had to go back a week later and had a follow up question about what the doctor had said because I was 99% sure she misunderstood. She refused to verify and told me that if I wanted to ask my question I would have to wait till all the patients were taken care of and she was going to changer me a walk through appointment. I came back 2 weeks later and I confirmed with Dr.Ross that her assistant had misunderstood. BEWARE, I noticed that they were overcharging me when I compared my statements to what I paid. They had not mentioned this to me and I had to get an insurance representative to help me get my money back. They couldn't find where they had charged me. I got like 300 dollars back. I wouldn't recommend this office for several reasons. Parking is always a challenge. The parking directly in front of the hospital is solely for handicapped parking, which is fine but I didn't know that ahead of time and the adjacent parking was mostly filled. It took awhile to find parking and finding the office. The receiving front desk is not very courteous and appears bothered by questions. I was called back 40 minutes after my appointment time and then left in another office for 12 minutes before I saw Dr. Ross. An update to my initial draft. I've been back twice and each time it's been an issue with the scheduling times. The wait is unreasonably long and taking time out from work has caused me issues just to be frustrated through the whole process here. From scheduling, to the front desk demeanor, to the wait time, this is not somewhere I'd go if I had a choice again. read more

Hurried, inattentive and careless are the three words that come to mind after my experience with Dr. Ross. Having received many skin checks in the past, this was the quickest and least thorough exam I have ever received. After waiting over 30 minutes to be seen, I was hoping to still receive quality care. She skipped my scalp, right leg and did not examine my feet. I was so shocked she was wrapping up the exam in under 5 minutes and leaving I asked, "did you get everything?" She replied, and I quote, "PRETTY MUCH". Pretty much means, no I didn't... and I'm okay with that. As a young woman whose mother was diagnosed with melanoma at my current age, this is unacceptable to me. It should be unacceptable to you too. Go somewhere else where patient care is more important than their overbooked schedule and paycheck. I will say Dr. Ross' assistant was very sweet and tried to go out of her way to make up for the lack of care on Dr. Ross' end. She offered to bring her back in the room, and to check missed areas herself. If it's not important to the doctor who runs the practice, it's not important to me. I won't be returning. read more

I had an appointment on Dec. 10th, 2024. I was given a prescription which was sent to HEB. Here we are on 12/30/24 after weeks of back and forth between this establishment and HEB. Dr. Ross's office kept saying they were waiting on HEB, HEB kept telling me they were waiting on pre-authorization from the doctor's office. They sent my prescription to a different pharmacy without consulting me first then I find out today that my insurance denied the prescription!!! Really!? Worst customer service ever, I do not recommend this place at all!!! read more

Avoid this office at all cost. Every time I went I felt they were just trying to push me to buy products that were on Amazon btw at a fraction of the cost. My skin never cleared up which let me just say i did an allergy test and was told to just google my readings by Dr Ross herself There was one visit I showed up to and was told I didn't have an appointment that day which I showed them my reminder card with my appointment date and there was no room to squeeze me in. Decent priced Laser Hair Removal, but with unprofessional technician and crappy results. I've been coming here for a while for laser hair removal, big mistake! Found out you can get a much better price with Groupon, elsewhere! Maria was my initial technician, and she was very technical and professional. A little chatty but you knew she was doing it for a long time. The results were great. She later quit, and warned me to avoid Sienna. Maria said Sienna didn't know what she was doing. Sienna was very unprofessional; passive aggressive, sarcastic, she would laugh at me when I winced in pain from the laser, and would say mildly offensive things in small talk. She wasn't even sure what laser to use on me at first and had to ask Dr. Ross. I always dreaded having to go to her before I ceased service completely. It only worked temporarily and would grow back anyways. Maria was right! Sienna doesn't know what she's doing. If she doesn't like you, she'll make it known. She should stick to eyebrows, laser is not her forte. Dr. Kim Ross herself is a sweetheart and so is one of her nurse practitioners. Look elsewhere for better service with friendlier staff, you won't find it here! read more

I was a short time employee there and in the two months I was there never saw an office so disorganized and unprofessional in my life ! Mind you I've worked for doctors office for more the 20 years and had the worst experience ever working for this practice !! The doctor is rude, unprofessional, and cares very little for her staff ! All she cares about is money and selling her products! I was there two months and saw 7 people quit within that time including her PA! I will never recommend this place not even to my worst enemy ! I do not know how this practice has stayed open with all the incompetence that goes on there !! RUN as fast as you can !! I had an appointment with Dr Ross and had to reschedule it due to my child being sick. Immediately rescheduled upon cancellation of my original date. Day of the appointment i kept my child home from school since it was a 9 a.m. appointment only to find out the woman i spoke to on the phone did not submit my reschedule. I also altered my work schedule to make this appointment. I feel they are very unorganized and was inconsiderate to not try and fix it. read more

Horrible communication with patients. Made long trip into town. Office girl took my payment quickly and ready to make me fill out pages of paperwork already done previous. Decided to ask waiting time only to be told 'just alittle wait'. Asked what is 'little wait'her response was PA in surgery be about an hour wait and 3 patients ahead of me! Does office personnel not think patients should get a courtesy call or be told of wait time? I had another apt. If I did not ask wait time, I would have been sitting there thinking my name would be called reasonable time. Got refund and will never ever come back or refer this office again. I had never been a patient at this clinic prior to Aug 2020, yet they had my address and insurance from 2005! I immediately provided a new address and a new insurance. They even had me verify this information again in April 2021, so it's confusing when I get a call from a collection agency April 20201 reporting that I have not paid the pathology lab the dermatology offices uses. I spoke to Gina at Dr. Ross' office on 4/9/21 who indicated they provide the address and insurance to the lab and that I needed to call to find out why there was an overdue bill. This was not their issue, it was mine. That same day, I called where the lab indicated they were provided my old information (insurance and address) from 2005 by DR. Ross' office. I again called Gina who denied they made any error and she didn't know how the mistake was made. She also refused to call and correct it despite my asking several times. In fact on 4/12, she went to lunch, knowing on I was hold for over 7 minutes asking to speak to her. Despite this being Dr. Ross' error, I have no received any follow up, apologies or assistance in this matter. I have had to call the lab and work with billing to update my information and remove the bill from collections. In addition, it was on 4/9/21 that I met Dr. Ross for the first time where she was didn't introduce herself or the other person in the room until after she told me she couldn't do anything to address my skin issues because she couldn't read the lab report. This surgical appointment was scheduled by her office only after the lab report was received and I was told it would require surgery. She indicated that I would needed to come back again at another time, but didn't indicate when. She presented as clueless and with extremely poor bedside behavior. read more

You know it was odd. I got the side eye after walking back to my patient room after using the bathroom. The Nurse Practitioner comes in (the doctor had a procedure...sure) and she jumps straight to offering oral medications, both of which have terrible bad side effect profiles (remember I work in medicine). Like one literally can make you go bald...clear skin or no hair?...no thanks. I took a script for face wash and left. $55.00 for a drive-thru appointment and "see you in 3 months". Pros: the PA, Jamie was quite friendly, had a good sense of humor, and seemed knowledgeable about skin cancer screening. Cons: I waited for an hour to be seen. The two prescriptions that I was told I would receive where not written. When I called the office after realizing I had left without them, I was told they were being sent electronically and to check with my pharmacy. (no, they never received the scripts) On all the forms to fill out there was nothing listed for drug allergies, only food allergies. I still have a big red blotch from the band aid as I'm allergic to latex. (Four days later). The place that was biopsied hurts and I was given no instructions as to how to care for the site other than to put Vaseline on it. (Fortunately- I already know how to care for open wounds.) Throughout the office were signs saying that if you give a good review on Google that your name will go in a drawing for a free Yeti cooler. When I checked out there was the cooler with the latest winner's name posted. read more

Worst experiences of my life. The PA at Ross was fabulous; recognized a cancerous mole and took it off immediately. When I went for a follow up, staff said I had to see the actual Doctor, because it was cancer. The office re-scheduled my appointment 3 times! When Ross did a follow up, she took more skin, gave me scripts, and scheduled ANOTHER follow up. Four months later, went for follow up, and Ross ended up doing a full body check again, which I had 3 months prior. Before a left, some over-Botoxed lady cornered me in the exam room, trying to sell me a $200 daily facial regime, facial sessions, and chemical peels. She used terms like, "you're too young to look like this" and "you don't want to be old looking". I felt Ike it was a mean-girl maneuver to buy more products. Don't fall victim to these people! Dr. Kim Ross is THE BEST! I have been going to her for 10 years, and I trust her 1000% with everything from medical skin care (I have had several pre-cancerous spots removed), to cosmetics. She won't try to sell you on anything, and only does what she sees is important (medically) or what you want (cosmetically). I have referred many people to her and will still do so. read more

First of all I am not one who writes reviews but I feel I need to so maybe I can spare someone not to have the experience I had. I was diagnosed with skin cancer on my nose(very close to my eye). Dr. Ross recommended radiation. The treatments were 3 times a week for 6 weeks. The cost after my insurance was astronomical. I went to another dermatologist for a second opinion. He said never have radiation that close to your eye or brain. She seemed more concerned selling me lotions at an astronomical price that I could actually get on Amazon. She sent in a prescription but it went to the wrong pharmacy. Please, don't see this doctor. I am getting my cancer surgically removed for a $35.00 copay. read more

Haven't actually met Dr. Ross, but my experience with their office and staff has been extremely subpar. They have the worst hours and are hardly ever available. You will constantly get put on hold for extended periods of time when you call, passed off to another office, and then hung up on. They rarely return your call. Seems like patient care and customer service is of less value if you aren't there to get any of their cosmetic procedures or treatments. I will never recommend anyone to them. I am currently working with my insurance to get a new referral to a different dermatologist. I don't have anything good to say about this doctor's office and staff. read more

This place is just horrible. Need to get a cyst removed and just getting it schedule was insane. Of course it was gonna take some ridiculous amount of time to finally go in remove it. When I asked if some canceled could they let me know so I go get it done asap. Their answer was no but I could always call back. Then after having the procedure done and getting the stitches removed the person who removed them did really remove all of the stitches. I had to pull the rest out mmyself. I went in on Monday and saw the nurse practitioner. I didn't have a long wait, everything seemed fine. I was on antibiotic steroids for a few months and as a result have gotten really bad cystic acne along my jawline. The nurse practitioner made me feel like a spectacle. She walked in and goes "so you want accutane?" I said no.. I have never had acne this bad before and am here to see what should be done about it. Then she just started naming medicines and the nurse was circling stuff on this bookmark looking sheet. The medicines they Rx can only be mailed to you from this random pharmacy I've never heard of - obviously they're getting a kick back for it. And then she goes "come back in a month if you want or go to your gyno and get on birth control". She then brought some random PCP doctor in the room who didn't say a word and the nurse practitioner goes "see how bad it is on this side. Ok just wanted you to see that" and left. Will NEVER go back and going to get a second opinion. read more

I've been a patient here for several years. On each appointment I have had to wait over 2 hours to be seen. Today I had an appointment that was made a couple of days ago, even received a text confirmation of the appointment. Got there this morning and was told that there were no physicians today and the office was closed and "sorry" it was a part-time girl who made the appointment. Really? This office has always been chaotic but this is ridiculous. She said "do you want me to make you another appointment"? No thanks, this office does not care about their patients. My son had a an appointment at Dr. Ross's office. Wait time was minimal but the lobby is a little small for the amount of people that were in the lobby waiting area. We arrived and only had to wait a few minutes before being called back to see a doctor, once in the room it only took 10 minutes or so before the doctor came in. He was very friendly, gave us all the information and explained everything where we could understand it. The doctor made my son feel at ease with everything. I will definitely go back there if we need something in the future. read more

Scheduled an appointment a month ago to see Kim Ross. Come to find out when I arrived to my appointment that I was scheduled to see Someone else. Spoke with front office clerk to assure that I would be seen by Kim Ross. Waiting 2 1/2 hours to see the doctor. After being evaluated by the Doctor I was told to pick up two prescriptions from the pharmacy. Come to find out one of the prescriptions needed a prior Authorization that was not communicated to me. When I called the office the next day I was told that they have not yet received a request for the prior authorization from the pharmacy but stated they would start on the request and would contact me once Prior Auth was approved. A week went by and heard nothing , two weeks went by and still nothing , on the third week of waiting I decided to call the office to check status of prior authorization I was told by staff that prior authorization was still pending approval from insurance. So I called my insurance to find out the reason for the delay. BCBS informed me that the medication was denied one week after prior authorization was requested and was communicated to the office of Kim Ross.Yet when I called the office two weeks after they had received the denial from my insurance staff informed me that it was still pending prior authorization . So this let's me to believe that the office doesn't have a process to assure they close the loop on things like this. I had a 1 month follow-up scheduled to see Kim Ross tomorrow. Received a call at 5:15pm today to tell me that Kim Ross would be leaving early and that I would need to either schedule a consult with Maria for a facial or reschedule my appointment. Mind you I already spent $150 a month ago on a facial that the doctor recommended me to have. Already upset with the office on not communicating my prior authorization, my rosacea not getting any better , & yet they want me to spend another $150 on a facial, & not being able to see Kim Ross because she's leaving early just upsets me more. Do yourself a favor & Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Private practice clinics work for themselves and not there patients. read more

Dr.Ross provided first class medical practice on my leg. My leg had a large bump on it, after realizing I was worried and immediately went to Dr.Ross. She told me it was a staph infection which was a huge relief that it wasn't anything worse. She fixed my leg that day. I appreciate the care she gave me and she made sure I knew what the procedure was and She was considerate all around. read more

The person answering the phone was not very helpful didn't know where the office was located very rude told her about the parking I told her I didn't have money to pay for parking she said there was plenty of parking on the street I just needed to drive around and find one she said sometimes they even need to walk a block then I went up the elevator and it didn't show the doctor's sure number so I called and asked I told her it only went to a certain number she said she didn't know where I was I was probably in the wrong building instead of saying keep going around the corner the numbers continue but instead was rude and not helpful although it may be that the building didn't display the fact that it continues around the corner I ended up going down to first floor and looked around for another elevator finding the other elevator took it up and found it myself easy enough she could have helped me instead of deterring me away not a good start read more

This was my first experience with a dermatologist and it was awful. Dr. Ross came in for literally less than 5 minutes and did not even speak to me directly or address half of my concerns. She also prescribed very short term solutions to long term problems I've had. She was not personable and I feel extremely upset I had to pay to see her. On top of this my prescriptions were sent to a mail order pharmacy that never contacted me and thus I never received any help or benefit from this experience. My mom had a skin sore that Dr. Ross treated her for and prescribed a $200 cream. One year later, sore came up again and in the same spot. Thankfully when my mom went to see her again she had a sub, who immediately did a biopsy. It turns out it was a cancerous lesion. Dr. Kim never brought up doing a biopsy. Do not recommend this doctor for any skin conditions that are of a medical concern. read more
