Do not be fooled by the positive reviews you read. This lady increases her rates like ordering from…read morethe take out menu. I have seen a rate increase of almost $100 in less than a year. And when you call to get information as to why there is an increase, the only response is "she's in a meeting and she will call you back". Keep in mind I have called her several times at the exact time and gotten the same response from her workers. And Paula is like a minion. You ask her a question and she spouts the same line " it's due to rate and policy changes" like she reading from the manual. I know insurance companies have never been in the best interest of the people but unfortunately it is something we have to have in order to drive. But this place will rob you of your money if you have any left. Pay attention to the increases and how often they are happening and that is your first sign to start looking elsewhere.

I never signed any documents confirming the quote. they did text me and ask did I wish to move forward with the quote and I replied no. Be careful asking for quotes cause you just might get forced to pay for insurance you don't want or need.

I have been trying to clear up a claim and asked the agent, Sam Samani which he proceeded to advise he would assist. It has been two weeks since we spoke and I have yet to hear back from him. I have followed up and called the office but the two times I have called, he appears to always be in meetings, what a coincidence. The receptionist is not much better. I use Gena Trust for my residential home insurance. What I appreciate most about her & Ryan are…read moretheir prompt responses, thorough answers to my questions and openness to simply helping out. I was recently rear-ended by someone and both me and the at-fault driver were insured by GEICO. I was experiencing serious challenges dealing with GEICO and since the policy was due for renewal, decided to shop around. While on the phone with Ryan, I sounded him out on my GEICO situation. He patiently heard me out and was a useful sounding board with great advice. While there's always a business interest at stake, at no time in our conversation did it turn into a direct Farmers sales pitch - even though GEICO-bashing could easily have been a path of least resistance. So thank you, Ryan - your willingness to engage substantively with this client outside a direct sales context is what earns this review. In the end, I renewed my auto policy with GEICO. Why, you might ask. Firstly, they sorted out my claim - after jumping through several hoops. Secondly, I'm a price-sensitive shopper, and for an apples-to-apples policy on my specific scenario, GEICO delivered the better-priced premiums. The tradeoff is clear as day though. GEICO may save you money, but it's a pain dealing with them. If you prefer a more personalized relationship with your insurance agent; or you have more complicated needs whereby that human interface helps, you may find the higher Farmers premiums worthwhile. If so, I can say a great example of such a person-to-person team is the Gena Trust team.
