I checked a couple of places that advertised rust repair and settled on Sunflower. Gary quoted me an extremely reasonable price, so I brought my car in the following Saturday morning. We found another rust spot and settled on detailing also. Tuesday evening I picked the car up and my Subaru was beautiful again! It was like plastic surgery for your car. The owner of Sunflower Dent and Detail is a crook who is operating without a business license or…read morevalid business insurance. I took my 2012 Infiniti G37 to his shop on July 26th, 2014 to have some thin pinstripes removed from the vehicle (approximately $125.00 in labor charges according to the owner), and despite assurances from Gary Hassler (the owner) that the stripes could be easily removed with wet sanding (which would not damage the paint or the clear coat), one of his employees used an abrasion wheel instead to remove the stripes which destroyed the paint job on the car. They even sanded down to the bare metal in several places, resulting in damages of $4000.00. Mr. Hassler avoided my calls and text messages for almost an entire week before I was able to catch him in person at his shop to confront him about the matter. All I received were excuses and feet-dragging. On top of this, when they took the car out of the garage they parked it in the lawn, running into a metal park bench which did damage to the front bumper. When repeatedly asked why they continued to damage the entire vehicle when it was apparent they were damaging it when they started on the rear quarter panel, all I received was an "I don't know". Mr. Hassler has stated that he simply does not have the money to pay me, which according to his now former office manager is completely false. I've also checked with the City of Merriam, and he does not have a valid business license. After confronting him with 3 quotes from local shops to repair the damages, he confessed he does not carry any insurance either. I ended up having to pay the money out of pocket to have virtually the entire car repainted due to their negligence. I filed suit in Johnson County Small Claims Court (http://jococourts.org - do a search for Gary Hassler under the Civil category for proof), and was awarded a default judgment of $4000.00 plus interest on September 5th, 2014 because he didn't even bother to show up for court. After reviewing public court records, he has also done this in the past. As of November 14th, 2014 he has failed to submit a statement of assets to the Johnson County Court Clerks office so that a garnishment and collections can take place.

He said no, and in his 20+ years of owning a business, he has never had a problem with privacy tint on residential windows. We decided to have 25 of the windows done that was being exposed to the sun. Three years later, we have issues with six of the 25 windows done. One of the windows shattered, and five of the windows seals broke due to the tint. Our home is less than six years old and has Andersen windows. We upgraded the windows from the builder grade to a 200 series by Andersen. We called Andersen about the windows asking if they could repair them, and they said since we added the aftermarket tint, it voided the warranty. Andersen recommended getting in contact with the company that installed the tint. I spoke to Greg about the issues, and he said it was a defect in the windows, and the tint would not cause the problem. I explained to him what the representative from Andersen said; he became very defensive and then said, you are out of warranty and will have to figure it out yourself. From the pictures, you can see where the seals have broke due to the tint. I told Greg, I will write a review about your practice methods and how you are selling a bag of goods untrue to consumers. Before I could finish, he threatened he would sue me if I wrote a review for misinformation. I would not recommend doing business with Precision Tint. Not a very ethical company and someone who will sell you lies of untrue claims about tint.

They drove out to detail my car which was super great and I really appreciated. I wanted my car detailed because it was dusty and hadn't had a deep clean in a while! The outside was really clean, but in the inside it looked like there was only vacuuming and wiping down done. I originally called them because I had a stain in my cloth that I was hopeful they could get out and my mats needed a deep clean. However, they were not able to get the stain out and my mats looked like they had just been washed off. They are really responsive and work with you, but I definitely think I over payed for a wipe down of my car. I would just consider what you are needing done and communicate with them to see if they are able to do that!

It was in decent condition but I wanted to have it thoroughly cleaned and detailed and after looking for somewhere near my work, I found Xtreme Clean in Leavenworth. I called the day before and set up the appointment and told the gentleman I spoke with that the vehicle was used and I wanted it completely cleaned inside and out so I couldn't tell anyone had owned it before. They did not disappoint. They used a claybar on the paint, buffed, and waxed/polished every surface on the exterior. On the inside they shampooed every piece of fabric and cleaned every spot they could reach, I could not find a speck of dirt left inside the vehicle. I had left them with a few specific requests (remove any stickers and residue from the windows, restore the plastic on the sides that were damaged from the sun and fading, etc.) and they took care of them all. They even cleaned the engine compartment. Anyone I show it to have a hard time believing it is a 2002. You pay for what you get and this much work did not come cheap but I believe it was worth every penny. That being said, I have paid less for the same work at different places and the quality was in no way as good as at Xtreme Clean. I think what was the best part was the pride the workers there had when showing me my vehicle. They were legitimately excited as I reacted to how great everything looked as they took me through the vehicle. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants quality work done.
