I have it only 4 stars because the gentleman working didn't really offer any help or assistance and he wasn't very kind. It almost seemed as though we were bothering him. We did end up making a purchase because we simply couldn't pass up the opportunity.

This profumeria is definitely a hidden gem. Despite the small shop size, there seems like an…read moreendless amount of unique and rare perfumes. The gentleman who helped me was named Giovanni. He was so kind and friendly! This was literally my best customer service experience ever. I probably spent like 30 minutes trying to decide which scents I liked best out of five choices. He never rushed me or seemed tired despite my inability to make a timely decision. He is very knowledgeable about all things fragrance. As someone who used to work in this niche occupation, this is something I take seriously. He knows his stock well and all you have to do is describe scents that you enjoy and/or dislike and he will easily find the one for you. Even when others came in the shop he never ignored me. Living in a city where locals tend to write me off as just another American, Giovanni and his shop were a nice reprieve. He speaks some English as well which I was super thankful for, but if you need it google translate is always an option. For any collectors, this is definitely the place for you. For anyone looking for a unique scent, this is the place for you. For anyone looking for big well-known name brands, look elsewhere.

We…read moredecided to take a stroll through the mall and stopped to look at the Sephora, located inside the Rome Termini, to see if they had any different products to offer from the US. Upon arriving the employees just stared at us like we were something from another universe Im going to say that maybe they were not pleased with our appearance. I know there's a language disconnect on our part, but the hovering over us and looking us up and down Sure made us feel uncomfortable. I got the impression that they thought we were there to steal. I couldn't think straight due to the overwhelming feeling that I was being watched and judged by everything I did or said. I purchased something small, but upon leaving the store regretted buying anything due to environment in there. I did have a lady that tried working with me and she was somewhat patient with me seeing as I spoke no Italian. Italy is a beautiful place and we have been greeted and treated with kindness everywhere we went, but SEPHORA apparently is above us. Id give this particular location 1 star, but the ONE sales lady on the floor and cashier were friendly and patient with us.

Love stopping in Kiko. But the boutiques are never near me. So when I saw this one on my trip to…read morethe Vatican City I had to stop by. They were having a major promotion. Buy 2 get one free. Also a major discount on a mascara that I really wanted to try out. The ladies that worked here were really helpful. They were helping me out then realized I want fully understanding and asked if I spoke English? They than switched over ( very nice) and proceeded to help me out.
