He was so kind and friendly! This was literally my best customer service experience ever. I probably spent like 30 minutes trying to decide which scents I liked best out of five choices. He never rushed me or seemed tired despite my inability to make a timely decision. He is very knowledgeable about all things fragrance. As someone who used to work in this niche occupation, this is something I take seriously. He knows his stock well and all you have to do is describe scents that you enjoy and/or dislike and he will easily find the one for you. Even when others came in the shop he never ignored me. Living in a city where locals tend to write me off as just another American, Giovanni and his shop were a nice reprieve. He speaks some English as well which I was super thankful for, but if you need it google translate is always an option. For any collectors, this is definitely the place for you. For anyone looking for a unique scent, this is the place for you. For anyone looking for big well-known name brands, look elsewhere.

Horrible! Bought a bottle of Nasomatto Hindu Grass was supposed to come sealed. When I opened the…read morebox the bottle was leaking and the travel cap that comes inside the box for avoiding the need of traveling with the huge cap the bottle comes with was missing. I contacted them and never had an answer. When I was in the store and asked the sales attendant a bootle he went to the stock and took a long time to come back. Then when I got home and opened the box all the surprises came: the box was not sealed like when it comes from the manufacturer: it was actually wrapped with a plastic done by the store; the travel cap was missing and the bottle was leaking. They surely sold a "dumb" tourist a spoiled product! That's why the sales attendant took so long in the stock room.

My visit to the OVS department store in Rome was nice because they had many selections, similar to a Macy's in the USA and prices were very reasonable. Purrrrr. However, I was looking for clothing made in Italy and most of the items I saw were made in Bangladesh or other countries, Hisssss. That's also the reason the prices were reasonable. No problem though, I simply stepped out and found all the items that were made in Italy in the many big , medium, and small stores all around Rome. Purrrrr. I felt like such a Pretty Kitty doing the cat walk down Via Del Corso carrying my nip in a purrrrfect Italian leather pouch and smelling like a Devine Feline wearing luxe perfume made by "Gatta".
