While I do prefer other malls in the city including La Maquinista which is also run by Westfield and Diagonal Mar, which is only 3-4 stops on the tram away, this mall isn't too bad overall. The website lists 142 stores and there are a number of international brands to go alongside the typical Euro names - brands including Adidas, Hollister, H&M, JD Sports, Pandora, The Body Shop, Uniqlo and Zara have locations here along with the main telecommunications providers in Spain. For coffee, there is a Starbucks. Burger King and McDonald's also have locations here The mall does have an interesting sculpture which can be seen passing by which originally drew me to the mall. 3* - It has some useful brands and is fairly attractive but there is a much better selection of shops and even most of the brands repeated closer to the city centre of Barcelona, or in the city's other malls.

As it is largely indoor it is great if it is rainy and has a pleasant and friendly family atmosphere especially late evening when unlike the main Barca shopping areas, it has few tourists. It is not massive but is a decent size (about 250 shops) with a good range of retail and food outlets. If you want a blast from the retail past there is even a C&A (cheesey poses optional). There is also a cinema showing the latest big films (check for subtitiling). There is a huge Champion supermarket and plenty of free parking spaces. It can be easily accessed on red metroline.

Diagonal Mar is a large shopping centre on Avingua Diagonal in Barcelona. The mall opened in 2001,…read moreand despite being over 20 years old now, parts of the mall still seem modern. The location is good; it is right by the beach, and there is the Hilton Hotel across the way. The mall has three floors, including an outdoor area, which has a number of places to eat, including a Gino's Restaurant, as well as American fast food giants McDonald's and Five Guys. As you enter, you can find more big American brands inside, including Starbucks, Dunkin and Subway. Alcampo (large supermarket), Deichamann, Kiko Milano, Levi's, Primark and Sephora have stores here; there is also a small Nespresso stand. As I was staying at the Hilton Diagonal Mar during my August 2024 trip to Barcelona, I did visit this mall quite often, although it wouldn't be somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit. 3* - I do prefer La Maquinista or the city centre when shopping in Barcelona, as both have specific benefits over Diagonal Mar, but this is one of the few indoor shopping centres within the city, and it certainly is worth a visit on a rare rainy day or if you're looking to visit one of the stores or restaurants located here.

Mango Outlet - dreaming of MANGO, *sighs*

MANGO is 1 of the stores I never cared to shop at - not because I don't like their clothes, but…read morebecause there's I think a single MNG store in the city where I live, & since these clothes are from elsewhere or 'imported', they charge like (currency converted to €) €30-€60 for 1 MNG top. I'm just not willing to shell out that much for a top (sorry I'm cheap), unless the top comes with buttons of pure gold. If you're in Barcelona to shop for clothes, you might want to check out this Mango outlet. I bought tops here that cost €9.99, tank tops for €3.99, etc. Some others go for about €19.99, more or less, but there's a pretty decent selection. There are good deals to be found. They carry sunglasses, formal wear, wallets, casual shirts, blouses, jeans, shoes, denim - everything. Visitors & locals alike (from women in their 20's to 60's, it seemed) shop at the store. No matter where I went in Barcelona, I always found my way back to this outlet. It might just be BCN's best kept secret. I'd find myself enjoying the beach, or La Rambla, or Barri Gotic, but somewhere in the back of my mind, behind my smiles, I could always hear clothes calling out to me from this outlet, & like in Manchurian Candidate, I would always obey. I must've returned to this store like 5 times. Oh those lovely, lovely clothes. I also shopped at regular Mango stores in Barcelona, but the best discounts (maybe these designs are older, not sure) can be found here. Be careful when selecting the stuff you buy, because some clothes may have some type of dirt/stain on them (the type that can be washed off) or some small form of damage. The trip is worth it, but expect to be pushed around a bit (other women shopping & salespeople returning clothes back to their proper racks). Love love love this MNG outlet. Will definitely go back!!

DO NOT BUY FROM MANGO OUTLET. I had an absolutely awful…read moreexperience. Do not be fooled by the low prices -- the quality is complete trash. I ordered a large box and almost every single item was unwearable. Their customer service is rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. When I decided to return almost all of the order due to the horrible quality, I was shocked to find out they do NOT cover return shipping. I ended up paying $150 out of my own pocket just to send their garbage back. This company sells cheap, low-quality products, hides behind misleading prices, and treats customers terribly. Save your money and shop elsewhere

Believe as the lady told me this is the last standing "mall" of department stores in Spain?…read more It was crazy, hectic and uber busy! Bathroom is on the top floor in the corner, and yes guaranteed line! They however offer so many different brands at diff price levels and sales. There is a ton of staff manning every station, perfumes, designer bags, women's wear, men's wear, shoes and sneakers, dresses, suits, mens separates, kids etc. they have hair salon within, honestly I was hot, there was a group of female pickpockets that were roaming inside so keep your head on a swivel, busy hectic space, close quarters-- prime time for pickpockets. We were warned by another family while shopping that they witnessed it and they pointed the thieves out to me.

El Corte Inglés is Spain's only remaining traditional national department store chain, pretty cool. I love the clothing brands they offer here. At first, I thought all of their clothes would be super expensive but actually they have a lot of reasonably priced, good quality pieces! The first floor has some popular bag brands like Longchamp, Bimba y Lola, and more. Honestly, I wished we had something like this in the U.S. 9 floors of goodies!
