All of the ladies that worked with him in the infant room were outstanding and you could really tell that they care about the kids. My son is now in the beginners room and I love how much they do. They teach them independence when it comes to feeding themselves. They are doing all kinds of hand on projects. The Director & Assistant Director are great with communicating things back the parents. They always address any concerns you have with such care. I wouldn't want to send my son anywhere else!!

We pulled our son from another daycare after several concerns so we were already on the defense about where we would send him to next. Every single person we have met or interacted with at this facility seems to genuinely love their job and what they do. They are so great with our son and provide numerous updates throughout the day including photos! This has put me at so much ease especially after his previous center experience and the fact that he is going through a clingy stage so drop offs can be tough. The teachers quickly love on him and before we know it we are getting a pic of his smiling face. So grateful to have found this center and for our son to be surrounded by people that are passionate about what they do!

My daughter is only 4 years old and she was already working on phonics and she got everything right!! I was hoping my daughter could recognize alphabets before she starts kindergarten but obviously she is ahead of the game. If you are looking for a loving and caring school where your child could learn, LAKE MURRAY MONTESSORI SCHOOL is it!

Ms. Amy has been a true gem. She has been caring for our daughter since she was 12 weeks old (she's…read more9 months now), and they met when our baby was just five weeks old. Our baby took to Ms. Amy right away, and they've been besties ever since. Ms. Amy is attentive, considerate, kind, accommodating, excellent with my breast milk and with paced feedings, and she has worked with us at our pace for incorporating solid foods into our baby's diet. She has a safe and loving home and really makes you feel like family. She gives a clear sense of her schedule and always gives us as much notice as she possibly can for closures and shortened hours. She follows the Richland 1 school schedule for the most part. She is also attentive to infection control concerns and does her best to avoid illnesses spreading. She often checks in on us after hours and is happy to give baby advice from her own years of experience. Her children are also extremely helpful, and her daughter babysits herself. We are pleased to be a Lush Cove family, and we hope to keep our baby here for the foreseeable future.

The field trip was not provided , although I paid 90 dollars registration fee and 161 dollars a week , and he did so well and worked hard all week to deserve it. The summer camp has older kids , whose picked on my child and constantly brought their tablets, did games and went to websites and used inappropriate language, as my son informed me. The new young teacher shows a lot of favoritism and gave candy as a reward to kids and only to those she liked. We have to find better and cheaper care without us worried of our son deprived from fun and bullied by the older kids and us telling us to get him in medications ( he is only 6!).

As a newly divorced single mother and a full‑time college student, finding a childcare center that…read moretruly supports both my son, and our family has meant more than I can express. My four‑year‑old has attended The Sunshine House on Decker Boulevard for nearly two years, and I know I will be genuinely emotional when he transitions to kindergarten. This center has been a constant source of stability, compassion, and growth for him. From his very first teachers, Ms. Ashley and Mr. Cam, to every staff member we encounter, we are always greeted with warmth and genuine smiles. My son adores you all Including his new teachers Ms. C and Ms. Shay and is already excited to invite you to his fifth birthday celebration in August. The recent improvements under the leadership of Director Ms. Lakeesha Watkins with Assistant Director Ms. Kierra Hunter have elevated the environment even further. Their professionalism, patience, and dedication are evident in every interaction. They create a space where children are not only cared for but truly valued. The hugs, the encouragement, and the intentional attention each child receives show that this is more than a daycare--it is a community. I was initially worried that my son's behavioral challenges and delayed potty training might lead to him being dismissed, but instead, I was met with grace, understanding, and unwavering support. Within months, he was fully potty trained, and his behavior improved significantly. One moment that stayed with me was when Director Keesha reminded me that if adults desire grace, children deserve the same--because they are people too. That philosophy is lived out daily in this center. The Sunshine House has been a blessing to our family, and I am deeply grateful for the kindness, patience, and professionalism shown to us. I wholeheartedly recommend this location to any parent seeking a nurturing, supportive, and truly child‑centered environment. L-Anderson

If the saying holds true that cleanliness is next to godliness then my child spends his days on Mt. Olympus. She is definitely a person I would refer to anyone that I know, because she throws her whole mind, body, and spirit into the lessons and love she gives all her children. Without a doubt our son feels just as much at home with her, as do her own children. Our son's eyes light up to see her every day. He has learned so much from her, from drawing houses to moral values. She doesn't just watch our son, she teaches him. At three, he knows colors, ABC's, counting, and loves to read books. Some books he has even memorized from reading them so much. We will truly miss Christine loving and teaching our son when he goes off to school soon. She is a fabulous person and I am so grateful for the time we've had and cherish every moment she has spent with our son.
