I have three children Currently enrolled there. When we started, my kids ages ranged from 10 to 3. I was nervous for my three year-old to start because he had horrible experience at previous daycare's and had become extremely attached and emotional when I would leave. His teachers, Miss Pina and Miss Julianne were very reassuring and comforting with him. He is excited to go each morning and enjoy the structure and schedule that they have. He learned to write his name his ABCs, and can count. Since coming to Jack and Jill's I've seen a confidence in him that I know he would not have gotten anywhere else. They always have fun activities planned for all the kids and all the classes. I love that they plan things to keep the kids active and are not just locked in the room playing with toys or watching a movie. Miss Angela has a connection with all three of my kids and looks out for them as if they were her own. She's easy to communicate with and I appreciate how my parenting is respected and implemented When she interacts with my kids. Miss Heather is the first face I see in the morning and the first face I see at the end of the day. She communicates with me about how each kid did that day and has given tips and suggestions that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Miss Robyn also has great information from furthering education with her employment at Jack and Jill about stages and changes that I myself never thought of. For me, Jack and Jill is not just a daycare but an extension of our family. They Make it very easy and comfortable as a single mother to ensure that my kids get to and from school safely and there is no doubt that they feel love and protected by each one of the teachers at Jack and Jills.

My daughter had gone to several daycares before (SLC and Wisconsin) and this is by far my favorite! The staff has been wonderful and consistent over the years (both kids had the same preschool teacher). It gives the center a warm and comfortable feel--like sending the kids to a trusted relative's house--but you have the security of a big center (video monitors, no worries about a care giver calling in sick, etc.) The center is clean (but doesn't smell like disinfectant). The days are well-structured for the kids. The classes are very small so the kids develop a good sense of community and friendship with their teachers and playmates. Around age 7 or 8 we moved my daughter to a place with more "big kids", but I would whole-heartedly recommend Willowcreek for infants through early elementary.

The other school was much more expensive - but did not do as many hands-on projects with the kids and did not celebrate holidays or birthdays.... which did not feel so nice... We've never had a bad experience at this school. Dropping her off here feels like I'm leaving her with a friend... I know she will be well take care of. Parents need to take an active role with their child till 4th grade -- helping to instill habits and then your kiddos is off and achieving. Very concerning experience attempting to tour Challenger School in Sandy for preschool…read more We arrived on time for our scheduled tour and were handed a values-based questionnaire that no one had previously explained was mandatory. 10+ min later, the director informed us we couldn't even tour unless it was completed first. When I calmly asked whether we could simply tour before filling out a philosophical questionnaire for a school we knew very little about, I was met with repeated pushback from both the director & headmaster and repeatedly told it was "school policy," despite my inability to locate such a policy online. The director later stated she only had 15-20 minutes before the next tour while simultaneously expecting us to complete the unexpected questionnaire after the school itself had already run late. Neither my spouse nor I, both doctors, have encountered anything remotely similar in educational or professional settings. The interaction ultimately ended with the headmaster abruptly stating, "This is not going to be a good fit," and walked off. Overall, the interaction felt rude, dismissive, and heavily compliance-focused for what should have been a simple preschool tour inquiry.
