Dr. Steven Le is the only Dentist that care so much for my son since he started to visit the dentist office back in 2010.

After reading good reviews for this place, I decided to make an appointment for my son. I had high expectations because our previous dentist was amazing but no longer take our insurance. Upon entering, it was empty and depressing. We waited maybe 5-10 minutes and proceeded to meet doctor Le. He seemed friendly, asked me a few questions and then began to check my son's teeth. All of a sudden my son is yelling ow! And then I asked them "are you cleaning his teeth?" He says "yes, is that okay?" I said yes.. but no warning before hand of what he was doing or when he was doing it. It was the quickest teeth cleaning ever and he was done in 5 mins. My son was in pain and it was uncomfortable to watch. This looks and feels nothing like a kids dentist. No stickers, prize box or even a toothbrush. I was pretty bummed with this experience and I do not think we will be returning. read more

Zero star if possible. My husband called and asked for the price in advance to check my son's baby tooth without insurance since we are in the middle of open enrollment. They said $75 but then when I came they charged $125 just to look at my son - and do nothing!!! Such a malpractice!! Never recommend this place to anyone!! read more

This doctor is amazing. My daughters went in for the first time last year. The exams were quick and painless for them. My older daughter had 6 cavities needed 1 extraction and 1 crown. Let me just say he is literally lighting fast. 6 fillings done in 20 min. I actually think he did every procedure in less than 30 min. The root canal was such a worry but he got it done at the fastest pace possible so we didn't have to put her under. read more

All in all, Dr. LE is very good with kids. He has a way with kids, and they work with him. He is a very smart business man by enticing kids with a toy with every dental visit. He is my kids favorite pediatric dentist. One of my children cannot stop talking about him when the subject of dental comes up; she is influenced to be a dentist because of Dr. Le. Can you think of any child that you know that love his/her dentist this much? We have been referring several of our friends and family who have children to Dr. LE. BTW, he just moved to a location down on Bolsa that has existing adult patients, partnered up with a dentist and now accept new adult patients. read more

Thanks to Dr. Le, my 7 year old son loves coming to the dentist. I'm serious! People give me a funny look when I tell them, because their kid hates the dentist. Well they haven't seen Dr. Le. We've been with Dr. Le for three years and not once have we had a bad experience. He is very caring and helpful. He takes his time and makes the child comfortable. He definitely has a way with children. Also, his office is always so clean. The best part is that when I tell my son we have a dental appointment, he doesn't mind one bit. We arrive at the dentist calm and expecting the best, and we leave happy and satisfied. P.s. Kids get a toy at the end of their visit! read more

I've been searching for a good pediatric dentist and I'm glad I've found Dr. Le. He sets his appointments appropriately so there's minimal waiting time, works with your insurance to reduce your out of pocket expense, doesn't push to do unnecessary work, and most importantly he's quick and efficient so the kids are in and out in less than 20 min. The less time they sit on the chair the better they are. I highly recommend him. read more

I'm absolutely impressed by Dr. Steven Le and his dental assistant. He did 6 fillings for my six-year-old a couple of weeks ago without any Novocaine and in record timing too! In less than 30 minute it was done. And my son was not traumatized by the experience at all. I was hesitant to write a review because my older son can be pretty tough. i wanted to wait to see how my 4-year-old's upcoming appointment for fillings goes. yesterday, my younger son had 12 fillings done also without any Novocaine. He was nervous at first but the dental assistant and Dr. Le were super communicative and reassuring that the Dr. was able to complete 12 fillings in one visit. I'm relieved and thankful for his efficient use of time and their office's caring staff. I've taken my kids 2 other pediatric dentists before, one really bad experience with lots of crying and a so-so experience at another place and these were only for teeth cleaning. I'm super glad I found Dr. Le and to have had 2 successful appointments with lots of drilling and fillings without any tears and drugs. I recently went in for a cleaning as I have too many stains from excessive coffee drinking. Dr. Le did a great job on deep cleaning. He spent a lot of time going thru each teeth to get rid of plaque and calculus. I wanted to bleach my teeth but ended up didn't do it as Dr. Le said that it will make my teeth weak. Many dentists out there would want you to do extra procedure so that they can collect more money - I'm glad that Dr. Le is not one of them as he truly cares for his patients' well being. I went to Dr Le because of the yelp reviews regarding getting fillings done w/o local anesthesia. My prior dentist wanted to put my 4 y/o son under because of his "demeanor", but I did not want my son to be drugged up and asleep. I went to Dr. Le for a consultation, he took a look at my son and said he can do the fillings without having to put him under, he did warn us that we (my husband) would have to hold him down since my son couldn't sit still for long periods of time. I'm so happy that I found him. The 2nd time my son went to get the rest of his fillings done, he had to be held down again, but the resistance wasn't so bad. But both times, Dr Le was so fast and was accurate. Then the 3rd time, my son's filling from a previous dentist that wasn't done properly, needed to be removed and refilled. My son is 5y/o now and he sat all by himself and got the filling taken care of. I was so proud and he actually likes to go this dentist. I'm sure the toys that they give the kids at the end really help a lot as well...hehe. Side note: my 3 y/o son loves to go to Dr Le as well, he's had no cavities at all..woohoo. read more

They are over charge and hard to communication. I have appointment for filling on Thursday and Dr. Did not mention any thing about my son have 1 tooth growing out and other baby tooth almost fall out. Friday I call them to ask about that. They said, I need to bring my son to the office. My husband took my son there and they charged $118 cash for remove a baby tooth at the front bottom without a clear explanation. Dr. Le cleans my teeth. I'm very picky and I have 20/20 vision so I always check my teeth in the mirror to see if I can find any stains after each visit. I have absolutely no complaints. My kid had been scared and always was very nervous each time she had to go to the dentist. Since she came to see Dr. Steven Truong Le for the past years, she was no longer scare. Dr. Le knows how to treat and make her comfortable, he takes his time to explain things for her to understand. At the end of each visit, Dr. Le goes over what's going on and how to keep my kid's teeth better with me. Dr. Le is very professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly he is very caring. His dental office is very clean and environment is kid friendly and attractive. I also know that Dr. Le takes care adults, and he explains very thoroughly to me what's going on while he preforms works on my teeth. One more thing, his staffs are very friendly and helpful. Oh! Dr. Steven Le is the most genuine pediatric dentist I have ever seen. He is an amazing doctor and knows what he is doing. Before entering into his office, I had a huge fear of dentists and how all the instruments were going to work inside my mouth. However, the atmosphere inside of his office felt very welcoming and friendly. The whole time I was there I felt like I didn't have to be scared about anything. Not coming back for sure! I decided to go here based on the positive reviews and the pictures of the kid friendly office....Anyway, Took my 18 months old baby here for the first time ever check up. Staffs weren't that friendly! Not rude but not friendly or helpful either! But I am ok with it. The reason I am not coming back is the Dr. He isn't not friendly at all, and he is suppose to be specialize in treating kids... my daughter was scared...but not once that he is bother to help my daughter to feel at ease.. no attempt to talk to her a bit to get to know her... he just went straight to her mouth.. five minutes later he told me she has 10 cavities ( she has 16 teeth total) and told me I need to get them fix so that she can eat better?! Not explaining how he would do it with a 18 months old.. and don't even bother to show me the pictures of the cavities... he kept on telling me it was because of the milk and bottle feed for longer than an hour each time.. ( uh no.. true that is she is still using bottle twice a a day but the max she would be on it is about 20-30 minutes then she would push the bottle away.... and I always give her water right after.. only a few time that she felt asleep while drinking it in the car) he didn't give any advice on how to take care of her teeth or how to help brush it the correct way...and this was our very first time at his office. I left the office feeling lost and distressed.. I feel so bad that I put my daughter through that.. and now I am worry about her 10 cavities and need second opinion because there is no way I would take her back there to the doctor that doesn't really care much about kids.. read more

Before the cancellation last week, we really like Dr Le and his service there. We called 2 weeks ahead to make appointment for my 4yo 6m check up on 10/31/14. Office staff called on wednesday (2 days before appt day) to confirm the appointment, no change. Around 11 ish on thursday (1 day before appt day) they called back to cancel my appointment on friday because office would be closed on that day 10/31/14. Very unprofessional. read more

The office is very clean with cute decorations for kids, although finding parking space could be difficult, since it's a very busy plaza. Dr. Le was super nice, he explained very clearly about my son's condition and treatment plan. I made a returned appt for my 2 children but had to cancel, because they wouldn't waive the 10% uncovered by my ins :( read more

My 8 year old son is a very easy going, good natured and relaxed kid so for him to kick, scream and cry bloody murder at anytime is beyond unusual. However, this was exactly the case whenever he had to go to the dentist. He acted so psycho at every appointment that I had to literally place my own body on top of his to keep him down. And have you ever heard of a doctor breaking up with his patient? Well that's exactly what they all did to my son. After long searching I finally found Dr. Le. No matter how many visits it took to get my son's grill in check (he had tons of cavities), Dr. Le handled him with the utmost patience, care, and professionalism. It is so rare to find a doctor like that these days. My son has been seeing him for a few years now. We actually saw him today to get some cavities re-filled and I can happily say that my son no longer has tears streaming down his face, doesn't kick his legs up or flail his arms, nor does he cry like an abandoned child when he sits in the dental chair. He has completely changed and grown ever since seeing Dr. Le and that is the reason that, after we moved to LA, I still drive to Westminster so my son can get worked on by him. All of my 3 kids have been going to Dr. Le since they were about a year old. Dr. Le is very caring and gentle. All of my kids stopped crying when they were about 2 years old. Before that, they were crying just a little but not screaming since my kids can lay on me which is very comforting for my kids and for me too. Best of the best doctor. It took us 5 years to find him. We're extremely happy with the results. I was so shocked when my daughter who always was so scared with dental care said that "mom I want to come back here. It didnt hurt. I like the doctor". Dr. Lee and his staff are great! My daughter has always been a little nervous about the dentist, but his hygienist makes her feel so comfortable. She loves going to see Dr Lee. I'm so glad that we have found Dr Steven Le. He is an amazing dentist. Both of my kids (5 and 4 years old) were always scared of going to the dentist. Every single time we went to see a dentist (previous one), they cried and I always had to hold them down for whatever works needed to be done, whether it was x-ray, cleaning, etc. This was the reason we looked around for another dentist. From day 1, Dr Steven Le and his staffs were so welcoming and gentle to my kids. My kids instantly felt so comfortable with them. They did not cry and were in the chair by themselves. They allowed Dr Steven Le and his staffs to work on them. My son had 4 teeth extracted and he did not cry nor did I need to lie down with him. It was incredible. Dr Steven Le saw that my daughter was developing an under bite and immediately took action to start correcting it. Previous dentist didn't even bother to tell us or did anything with it. Both of my kids love going to the dentist now. My daughter has been seeing Dr Steven Le for her under bite treatment multiple times now and she always looks forward to go each time. Of course, every time she goes, she gets a toy so that is a plus :-). We are so happy that we have found Dr Steven Le and has recommended him to friends and families.
