Simple, peaceful, and a good spot if you just want to clear your head for a bit.

I was able to park at Beaudette Park and the trail was well marked so it was easy to find and also follow. I bought my dog (and saw lots of other dogs) and was able to walk towards sylvan. This trail connects to the West Bloomfield Trail seamlessly. I do feel there were a lack of garbage cans in certain areas but overall, the path was wide, well traveled, fairly flat, and clean. Perfect for a nice stroll!

The friend we were meeting is a local so she was able to get a reservation for the 11am-1pm time slot, which is apparently reserved for locals. It wasn't too crowded and was the perfect activity for a very hot summer day. My 6 year old was a bit fearful of the giant bucket of water that pours on your head at first, although by the end of the 2 hours he was standing under it welcoming it. My 9 year old and his friend jumped right in and couldn't get enough of all the slides and water fun. They were probably some of the older kids there, but still young enough to enjoy the fun. There's also a more babyish area to the side for younger kids who aren't into the slides and giant bucket. They also get 5 stars for cleanliness, including the bathrooms and changing rooms. I had to show out my coffee when we arrived since no food or drink is allowed inside the gate, but that's probably how they manage to keep it so clean. My sons are asking when we can go to Michigan just to go to this again so I can imagine if we were locals we would be there quite a bit.

In my opinion, their cardio is great and the weight machines, which were updated last year, are also very good. I like the quiet, non-assuming atmosphere. For the most part, patrons keep to themselves and that is fine. The gym is basically clean and they provide wipes to clean the machines after using them. I like that. The reason for the lower rating is that for all the years I have been a member, there are but a handful of, actual, friendly staff members. A few great ones that go back a long way, but for the most part, the staff is not welcoming or at all personable. So, do not join for the customer service, just come for the good equipment and cleanliness. And one big thing is that during the summer, the ac is never adequate! Adding ceiling fans would be a welcome addition to the workout facility!

They love coming here after their school day and participating in all of the great activities. They also have martial arts classes for kids and adults which both myself and my niece and nephew participate in. The facility is large and very clean. The coaching staff are the best that you could ask for! Super professional and great with the kids. They pick your kids up at school which is a big help for my sister as she does not have to worry about them getting from school to the facility. We just have to pick them up by 6:30PM.
