I got the jalfrezi and when the guy said it was spicy I didn't trust him, but believe me it is spicy! But ina good flavorful way. The service is also really nice and super friendly people. I'm not a vegetarian but sometimes I start to crave Indian curry veggie dishes and I'm glad I found this place! It's a solid Indian restaurant with delicious vegetarian and meat curries (they also have vegan options). I really enjoy their papadums as well since it has a bit of spice to it. I ordered the bhindi (okra) and their chicken madras- it was delicious! Thick curry full of flavor. Would recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner. Their portions are large as well, so I thought it was worth the $$. read more

The staff was incredibly friendly and we had no problems when my girlfriend did all the ordering and interactions (contrary to a reviewer below, who likely was being oversensitive and looking for things that aren't there). We ordered extra spicy food since we're used to eating very hot peppers, and it came out just right -- hot enough to elicit a nice burn. Would definitely visit again! read more

Terrible service, the guys who work there are total a-holes. The waiter was mad we asked for change on our bill (he obviously deserved zero tip), so he brought us a bill for 4 euros for tap water (what a coincidence, the exact amount he expected us to round up to on our bill!) The food was average -- tandoori chicken was covered in a weird sauce and the vindaloo and tikka masala dishes tasted the same. Come to think about it, they might have used the same sauce on everything! These guys don't deserve your business. read more

A nice open air area outside to sit. Fantastic Indian food. Had indian punjabi Thali ( butter chicken, lamb, chutney, sliced onions and very nice chutney ( dips) with Papad. Its a awesomely awesome place. And when this is coming from an indian who lives in New Delhi - so it counts. The staff ,the waiters and the owner Gagandep are extremely courteous and caring. I've eaten at Khushi quite a few times. The waiters have always been pragmatic and accommodating...you want this particular dish spicier? You've got it. Leave out an ingredient? No problem. Indian food to taste. The naans and other breads are excellent and I like the pakoras selection. If I order an appetizer and a main course (comes with rice) I'm at the limit of my appetite when finished......No, I'm not going to save room by deleting the beers. At the end they give you a small, going away shot and I walk out just right. read more

Avoid at all cost. The staff are rude and disrespectful to women. My wife was driven to tears by the aggression shown towards her by one member of the staff. Even when the staff member apologised he'd only look at the men on the table. He had a disgusting attitude which ruined our entire night. It was an absolutely awful experience. Absolute BEST indian restaurant ive ever been to! The staff is friendly and caring, the chef is a master, and the ambience is warm and welcoming--what more could you ask for? I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Berlin. Best part is they give you fresh papadum with raita, spicy green chutney, tamarind date chutney---AMAZING! Pleasant atmosphere, super wait staff, and tasty food. They are willing to accommodate individual tastes (you like spicy? they can make it spicy!). I've been to nearly every Indian restaurant in the surrounding area, and this is still my favorite. This is definitely the best Indian food I have ever had in Berlin. I ordered carryout the Chicken Sabji and the cheese Naan. Although the chicken in the Sabji was undercooked, the sauce and vegetables were amazing and tasted extremely fresh. I could detect all the individual herbs and spices. So tasty. The cheese Naan was also great and flavorful. So outside of the undercooked meat, it was a great culinary experience, and I look forward to coming back. read more

Khushi serves authentic Indian food which is truly amazing.The decor is beaiutiful, ambiance very welcoming and staff very friendly. It's very clean, very appealing to the eye and food is cooked the way you order from mild to spicy. Loved it. The service and quality I experienced last year has gone even to a higher platform.
