Dr. Le might be fabulous but one would never know because his office staff and procedures are so anti-patient I can't imagine why anyone would choose to go there. The appt. setter doesn't return phone calls in the time she states on her voicemail. When you finally get her on the phone she seems tone deaf to the idea one might need to see a cardiologist without a local primary doctor, for example mine is in Los Angeles. It's a resort town, more then half the population at one time or another doesn't have a local primary doctor. Or, that the referral wasn't more then an anesthesiologist at UCLA telling me there is a clicking in my heart when he listened during a procedure, and that's not reason enough to see a cardiologist. Their choice on how they screen patients and accept them is up to the doctor but patients are consumers and as a consumer, I would never engage with this doctor if this is the quality of staff and attitude permitted in his office.
When talking to the office manager, she was worse at listening then the appointment setter, only interested in threatening a reviewer for leaving a review versus addressing the idiocy of their office policy. Thinking her job was to have equal time to respond by interrupting as if it were a democracy.
If you've had a heart attack and have no choice, well then you have no choice. When a practice is too procedural to meet the needs of its patients before you can even get in to see the doctor, and the call devolves to vulgarity because the staff are too friggin stubborn to listen, I'd recommend you go anywhere but here! read more
