They really seem to get everything right at this place. Supporting local small businesses is important to me but it's even more important when the people at the businesses are exceptional at what they do. It's hard for me to say enough good things about the professionalism and the level of service that you will encounter here. The barbers here are skilled and I mean that in the purest sense of the word. They listen, they advise, they are knowledgeable and most importantly, they have created an environment that is both hospitable and casual. My barber was Rob Bispo and he made me feel relaxed and engaged throughout my visit. I mean, come one guys, grooming is the thing that you do for yourself that tells people who you are every day. Your image is definitely in a safe place here. The people here not only have a vision for their business, they have a vision for your image. They want to help you be your best. Whatever your style or wherever you want to go, they will help you get there. They consult, they educate and they do not spend your entire visit repeating some tired sales pitch. They believe in social responsibility and they create their own products onsite that are ethically sourced right down to the packaging. I became a fan within two minutes of entering the shop. I doubt I will go to any other place for my styling while I live in Florence. I am not exaggerating when I say that I have paid over $100 for a local salon visit and the style that I got here was the best one I have had since I moved to Florence. Beard guys ... they have you covered. This place is the Mecca for beard styling and care. Do yourselves a favor and check them out. You will find a place here that has the best and most unique vibe in the Pee Dee area. If they ever decide to go public, I'm down for the IPO.

I looked around to see who he was speaking to and realized he was directing it at my 14‑year‑old son, who stood quietly next to me. Mark continued to glare at him aggressively--there was no sign of familiarity or humor. He then said, "There are some people leaving; they'll get the door." The whole interaction was unnecessary and uncomfortable. It felt like an attempt to assert dominance rather than welcome customers. The shop itself has talent--Sara gave me one of the best haircuts I've had in the Pines--but the atmosphere is toxic. Mark's loud, aggressive demeanor seems to intimidate the staff, which may explain why so many appointment slots remain open. This kind of behavior doesn't create a professional or relaxed environment, especially when families or young clients are present. Hopefully, management will address this and bring back the friendly, skilled vibe that Sara and others clearly work hard to provide.
