There wasn't anyone working the front counter, stood there for about five or six minutes. Mind you, the restaurant is completely empty no customers at all. Some young underage kid (14-15 years old) walked out of the back after I was standing there for quite some time, didn't speak at all to me, just looked at me awaiting for me to tell him what I want. I ordered, and he just looked at me without telling me a price so I just handed him cash, hoping that it was the correct amount. After cashing me out, he walked away. Did not tell me a wait time. Ordered general tso's chicken lunch special. The chicken is less than mediocre and the pork fried rice that comes with a lunch special tastes like sawdust that has been sweetened with confectioners sugar and seasoned with MSG. I see why this business isn't doing too well :(

So flavorful, comforting, and consistently delicious. Today I woke up to snow covering the ground, everything white and peaceful, and I instantly knew I was making a call-in order. Perfect cozy-weather food! For about $19, I got their lasagna, a fresh salad with French dressing, garlic bread, and a sweet tea. Sure, it's a little on the pricey side, but that's inflation for you--and honestly, the quality makes it worth it. If you haven't been to Bona yet, I definitely urge you to stop by and grab something to eat. Besides the lasagna, I highly recommend their cheesesteak sub too. The staff is great, the atmosphere is cozy, and the place is always very clean. Bona is one of those spots you can count on every time.

They even have overflow parking across a side street so parking is a breeze. Everyone in our family are chips and salsa lovers. Some of the best here, and they keep it coming without asking. Huge pour jugs of fresh salsa was flowing at our table throughout dinner. Our server was amazing given how much we can put down. He never missed a beat, filling drinks, bringing food, and cracking a few jokes whenever he stopped by. Our mains were a bit of a hit and miss. My wife's chicken chimichangas were a bit dry inside, but the sauces and sides were delicious. A little extra juiciness and a bit more tender chicken would make this a 5 star dish. My verde cheese enchiladas were excellent. Cheese that pulled for days, tender tortillas, and smothered in delicious green sauce. Kids enjoyed their dishes as well. Chicken flautas were crispy and tasty, but again the chicken was a tad bit dry inside. The grilled shrimp burrito was outstanding. Perfectly grilled shrimp with a juicy sauce that tied it together. Great place for solid Mexican meal, fun for the whole family, small or large party without any wait or parking issues.

Prices were very reasonable and if passing through the area again I would come again.

But please know that they do have good sales! Their marked down areas are my fave. Like a huge bag of potatoes for only $2....or a ton of lemons for $1. Things like that!
