I am such a big fan of fried chicken especially since I had the original in street markets at Taiwan so my anticipation was building. It of course did not disappoint. The juiciness of the beautiful glorious chicken and the crispiness of the batter and skin, ugh, I have shivers going down my spine just thinking about it. Perhaps the key point of difference at this franchise is what looks to be a side business selling anime Lego figurines and what looks like vitamin and mineral supplements. With meunster cheese, rocket, drizzled with truffle mayo - This burger definitely knows how to look after you. This week was the Truffe Burger, and I naturally had to order a double. This burger is supposedly the favourite one among the staff, so I had expectations but I tempered them too. The dirty fries were also on showcase, so had to order those as well. The dirty fries were decent, but whoever made them didn't salt them properly as the salt was distributed unevenly....mega salty in the middle and barely salted on the edges. Not sure I'd order these again unless they fixed that up. The Truffe was pretty good...I wasn't expecting it to be, but I had no qualms with this burger, especially at $13 for a double. The truffle oil with the mayo and cheese went well with the grass fed Tasmanian beef patty. Did I enjoy this burger more than the Bronx at Five Points? Yes I did...I'm definitely keen to try the Cheese Boogie and Fat Boy now. My only gripe (besides the fries) is that this place isn't the most accessible if you live by the CBD, but if you live by inner west you should by all means go.

Something about the paper bag which adds the experience of eating fried chicken. We chose to eat at the tables provided which are small and few. Being right on the street was a pain with all the car and foot traffic but that's the price for sitting outside. The chicken was very tasty, not as moist as other fried chicken which I've had but the flavours are all there. Chips were fine though a little under seasoned (might just be me though), and the fried sweet potato was the first time I actually ENJOYED sweet potato - this coming from a guy who will run screaming into the night if he is served sweet potato. Certainly enough food for two guys to enjoy and tuck into. I would certainly come here again. The only real downside besides the seating was the staff. The staff need to work on their customer service. If you look sad and gloomy as if to say you hate your job that's going to reflect on the whole experience for the customer.
