The tater tots were perfectly cooked though. This place has been here since dinosaurs walked the earth, and it looks like it. There are maybe a half dozen worn stools at the counter for customers to sit on, and not much space beyond that. It's smoky and a film of greasy air hangs in the room, so be prepared. But if you like the smell of charred burgers and onions, and their taste, you'll like this place just fine!

We decided to try the Chester Chicken because it's new in town. The prices were a little high on the meals for me. I ordered the 3 chicken strip meal with a side of fried corn cob. (all the meals come with potato wedges and a honey buttered biscuit), and my brother ordered the 2 piece chicken, he went with 2 legs and a side of mac n cheese. They also offer honey mustard, ranch, BBQ or sweet and sour sauce. I wish they had asked if we wanted a drink added because I didn't think about it till we sat down. The fountain drinks and coffee were out of order because they didn't have water yet. Hopefully they'll get that working soon. My son-in-law, Jesse Whisler, was dressed up as a chicken and dancing by the highway to bring in customers for the first day and take pictures with.
