For dinner, I would probably give this 3.5 stars since the prices are a little elevated for what you get, but the lunch menu is pretty good at just 10€. For lunch, you can get 3 tacos of the same meat, rice, beans and a soda, for 9,90€, or 3 tacos of the same meat, rice, beans and a quesadilla for 9,90€. The meat choices are 3 types of pork (chorizo, al pastor, or carnitas), chicken mole, beef, or you can get vegetarian. The beans are black beans and flavorful and they were out of rice but I've heard it's pretty good. The owner was super nice and gave us an extra quesadilla in lieu of the rice when he ran out. I found the chicken mole to be a little strange and slightly pumpkin in taste. The tacos are served in corn tortillas but don't have anything else other than meat. It would be nice if they had some cilantro, onions and/or cheese. The quesadilla is made with a flour tortilla and with cheese, and was actually good when you eat it piping hot. I liked the black beans - they were flavorful and the texture was good - not too mushy. All in all, good place to come for lunch if you're craving tacos and can get the weekday deal. I don't think I would come here for dinner, I think La Sandia may beat it in terms of flavor/sauces, but this is a cheap and filling option for lunch if you're searching for Mexican food.

I showed up looking like a wet rat, but the owner offered me some paper towels to clean up, and set up a little table for me in the corner, even though I didn't have a reservation. He continued to check on me and ask how I was doing throughout my meal. The food was amazing as well - I had the peanut butter beef, which was very unique and incredibly delicious. The plantains were also juicy and delectable. If I lived in Toulouse, this would definitely be a regular spot for me. I hope to make it back sometime soon :)

There's certainly no lack of kebab shops in Toulouse, and this one is one of the better ones that…read moreI've tried. They have a lot of options: paninis, "tacos" -- which are more like burritos, at least in California, sandwiches, fries, and a lot of menu that include a sandwich + drink + fries. Prices are pretty reasonable at under 10 euros per person, or even less. We got the chicken curry "taco" which was more like a grilled stuffed burrito. It was tasty, but definitely not healthy. It had a creamy / mayo sauce which is good, but definitely not good for you. They even put fries inside the "taco" for you too, so it's a nice mix of crunchy and soft textures. They gave us some fries on the side (even though we didn't order it) because they had to make some anyways for the inside of the sandwich, which was a nice touch. I'd come here again if I needed something quick and inexpensive to eat. They have seating inside if you want to eat it there, or you can get it to takeaway.

Tacos are Mexican, only, no matter where in the world you make, buy, sell or eat them. These are more like Extremely bad burritos. As a Chef de cuisine with Mexican blood I'm insulted by this whole movement, especially from the over-the-top, food-proud French. If a French person comes to Mexico and orders Cassoulet and I give them refried pinto beans with boiled chicken served on a Torta roll, they will be insulted and insist that its not Cassoulet. The same way the guys in these "Taco" places insist that these are Tacos. "They are French Tacos"... no, they're not.
